I must admit I'm a little worried as well.
I would love someone (Seraphox?) to just tell us whats going on.
To start a list of the issues:
- Registration is broken
- The TOTM System cant be accessed ?
- No Administrators or people with access to the server
- What about http://www.sub-challenge.com/ (Which seem to be a side Project from Milovana)
- http://urge.info - No Updates for 4 years.
- EOS (New Tease Generator) is not being worked on LastPost was from Sun Jan 06, 2013
Feel Free to add if you have more in mind, so we can get an overview.

It would be a shame if the website disappear, there is a lot of quality work on this site.

The lack of response is quite concerning. This is just about the last adult themed community site I visit after babblesex shut down. There just isn't anything of quality out there. I've been developing websites for almost a decade now and have often toyed around with making a milovana esk site. There are tons of features I would love to see added to a site like this. I may start on something tonight, first i'd build a way to display current non-flash based teases and a way to scrape them from here, but what to call it...

I've been meaning to post on this thread for a few days, but haven't had the opportunity.
It would be a huge shame if Milo died, and it's clear from all the comments here that there are plenty of people who would be sad to see it go. Fact is, for whatever reason, Ph0x hasn't had the time to come on here as much, and neither has Dark. They both have lives, like we all do, I'm sure neither of them would want to see all they've worked for and built here disappear into the ether of the internet.
So what's the solution?
Basically, use it or lose it.
Don't think there is enough new content? Make some.
Making a tease is surprisingly easy, sure it can seem complicated to try and code a flash tease, but it's worth a shot. And the basic tease editor is very easy. The TOTM might be a little behind, and the tagging isn't available yet, but everyone here appreciates new teases.
Think the forums are getting quiet? Post more.
Not confident enough to make a tease? Then share your ideas on the forums, give feedback to a tease, or write a story. There's a wealth of good content in the forums, games, discussions, and some truly great stories. A little post to say you enjoyed something can do worlds for someone's confidence and will encourage them to make more content. And simply adding your voice to a discussion at least shows the site is being used, and that the community is alive.
The site has a couple of technical issues, that's clear to see, but it also has a really good user base, and there is a lot of knowledge in that base. If you think you can help out, offer to lend a hand.
We all love the community, so I'm sure there are plenty of us who would be willing to keep it afloat.

I have heard that Milo. started around 2006, and grew out of some other website [orgasmcontrol.com ?]. If the current Milo. vanished, then there are quite a few specific webteases that I have bookmarked and would miss. If you are able to archive any of Milo.'s content now, that would be great.
Secondly, losing all the content on Milo. would be bad, but if there was a similar adult BDSM site, then not all would be lost. So I am happy to hear that [
www.ericsBDSMsite.com] or whatever might one day replace Milo., as Milo. replaced OrgasmControl.com.
Finally, another thing I would miss about Milo. would be the specific individuals here. I congratulate Quiet Linda for providing her Yahoo Messenger and email info. I do not want to make my contact info. public for everyone on Milo., but I have privately given my information to a few people.
I used to enjoy browsing the profiles on CollarMe.com. Then one day I went to visit that site, and... it was just gone. I really hope that does not happen to Milo., and I would like to see contingency plans developed.

Truth is, I rarely come here anymore, not since my falling-out with the site admin. Some of you may remember me as Indigo™. I know very little about what goes on here anymore - but here are some of the things I can fill in the blanks for, from my (brief) time as an official site admin.
Ph0x had at that point been handed a very large project for his real-life career, and had told me that he would be less and less available as time went on. Dark had, at that point been mostly absent, and there was starting to be an increasing influx of spam. Most of that was dealt with myself - so in that respect, I'm glad to see more moderators on Team. He had at that point been working on EOS off and on for a while now - as I recall, he was nearing a beta stage, but got hung up on something else and never got past it. With regards to Urge.info - it's dead. The woman that was assisting (Alison) came down with severe health problems, and was no longer able to keep it going. It will most likely never progress from where it is now. With regards to server access - I believe that Ph0x really is the only one with access. PM's to him are useless. If you want to get his attention - you have to email him at
[email protected].
It was commented once that nothing kills a site faster than the inability for it to have new members. I'm not sure I agree, but it certainly precludes a site from improving. Banquo referenced several good ideas for maintaining the site at it's current level - by adding content. Teases, forum posts and games, etc. It's not a bad idea. With regards to archiving site content - I believe this to be a copyright issue. Some will argue that the content is already copyright infringing, because none of the images are original works. Possibly true - but two wrongs don't make a right. The teases on this site were *always* said to be the original, creative works by the authors, making them personal property, not site property. So if you plan to archive another authors work, you really should get their written permission first.
Milo has always been a site where people could come for webteases. Frankly, without new blood, the authors already here will eventually burn out - and this site *will* die a slow, painful death. The registration issue has to be fixed. But it's always been a core following of maybe a hundred dedicated people, give or take(?). The mass majority of viewers here are unregistered. Do a quick browse of the forum, you'll see what I mean. Until the issue can be resolved, just do what you can to keep it going.

After reading Indigo's post and reading the milo TOS I probably wont be building a scraper, at least not a public one. I may make one that auto copies all my own content though ;) Last night I built a user registration and log in flow for my concept. That being said I probably wont mention it again. I'd hate for my trivial stab at something to rival something as awesome as milovana to hasten its shutdown. If you want me to keep you up to date personally just PM me and when I get something going I'll invite you over as beta members. Till then...

It should be somehow possible to redistribute some basic admin rights.
I have the same feeling as many. Not so much about missing content. But one day it might even be something like the server hoster updating PHP and the board not being compatible.
In the moment it feels no one with admin access to the server, domain etc. is taking care about the site.

Reading this made me sad.... There's some great content here and it would a pity if it was lost. But I could see it happening. There's a private torrent site that I'm a member of, and I recall one day a few years ago when it just vanished for a month. When it came back it was only briefly, and to provide a link to the previous members.

Milovana is wholly owned and financed by Seraph0x. He said he has a smaller flat than he could afford to manage this.
There have been several attempts over the years to offer him monies but those have all been turned down.
Perhaps we should all click on links to generate click cash.
The only problems I have seen in all the years I have been a member is that some of the Admins burnout, and it takes a while to replace them. As it is all volunteer work.
I seem to remember there is a backup site with old teases archived.
