I was never big on gags but yet a leather bit gag made its way into my toybag for periodic use.....it'll keep me muffled yet is comfortable and if it's buckled on the right notch, both be effective let allow me to kindasorta work it out of my mouth in a (real) emergency.
My ex and I did find a place (won't list the vendor unless it's okay here) selling 'breathable ballgags' that are plastic holey wiffleballs with a leather strap through it. Sure you can breathe just fine.....but gods help you if you start to drool or tilt your head forward!!!!!!!! I am ok with being gagged for a while, but when the drooling starts, I absolutely hate it.........
