I support the idea of having new mods !!

I think this still may be an issue..
but it looks like the idea has been buried...
for what ever reason.

If a admin would post here it would help really.

Cutie is the new mod. The point is rather moot anyway as chat seems to be down indefinitely.

Yeah well it still is nice to have 1 mod around when there are a decent amount of people around to keep people from being "assholes" as for the chat being offline if only seraph can fix it, it can take a while.
Makes me wonder why not more people can fix it, mostly for when seraph is sick who will do it then or when he is on holiday who will do it then?

I don't think the problem is one of permissions, more that the only person with the know how to fix it is Seraphox now that Turtle has withdrawn his input.

And there arent other people who are trustworthy and know how to get it back to work on here?

Don't forget that all the mods are volunteers. If you are having a problem in the games room, there is nothing stopping you going and asking a mod in the lounge to help you with it.

Because lets be honest, the other rooms are barely used and it would be unfair to expect mods to hang around in near empty rooms on the off chance of something happening.

i dont use the lounge much at all, not everyone use that room for just chitchat like mostly happens there

Well that's the point, most people do use the lounge. But you can't expect people to suddenly change their habits and hang around in empty rooms in case someone comes in and causes trouble.
