I personnaly am amazed at the amount of work, effort and skill required to make these CH videos. I am thankful I was invited here and that I am able to get all these videos in HD. CH Island, along with Champion of Cocknia, Cantos (1 and 2) and Blue magic challenge (in fact all story based CH) have my preference. Thank you very much for this one, I am really impatient for the next episodes.

Amazing job!!! I love the island series and island 5 is the best in my opinion so far
Episode 1 was one of the best ever I love the music and everything I just feel I little bad for the strange geography but is more about me than problem. South america please come back or maybe a Brazil round could be my favorite (I am from Brazil) all boss round become Better than before but I miss the old rounds maybe you can mix a little
Episode 2 I am a boob fan but I love I just miss Eva Lovia (maybe a boss fight) Elsa Jean and Kelsi MVPs I love music as always

Dude, I have a full produced 'Brazil Round' that I never used in the final cut.
I cut that out because the "south America" part was too long, and I thought that round wasn't good enough.
No need to apologize for your english; that means you speak at least two languages. I'm from Spain, and my english is not perfect either.

I'll post the mega link here, if anyone else is curious about the "Brazil Round". It's one of the first rounds I made for Island 5, and still have the 8bit style font that got updated later.
Hope this makes the wait for episode 3 a little easier.

Oh my.... you got a Brazil round? Not quite to your standards? ........ Dude, your standards are like my perfect expectations.
But I understand that you got to set standards somewhere and you are what I consider a golden standard!
But now that the cat (Brazilian) is out of the bag you may as well share with all of us. Gosh there are some hot Brazilian babes. Would love to see what you found.
Thanks

Thank you Required!!!
I'm going through part 1 at the moment. And this has to be the best CH I've played ever. It is perfect for edge control, and the boss rounds make it a very fun challenge. Additionally the music choice is fantastic, it can really make or break CHs.
I am sad to hear this will be your cock hero island, but I hope this isn't the end of cock heroes from you! You are the best and the community needs you.
CURRENT SCORE (will be updated after each play through)
pt1:
12:14 - Stopped, didn't come
(6 hour rest period)
1:45:50 - Came, came... a lot
(8 hour rest, time of this post)

On the production side, the beat sounds were sometimes out of sync with the music, but it was infrequent and intermittent. I enjoyed the story elements during the breaks between rounds.

Yeah, the series has always been very hit and miss like that. There are so many great rounds, but then other rounds for one reason or another, not so great.
Well, yeah... when you have 150 rounds to play, some are better than others, and you end up comparing them.
I'm not sure why my criticism of the beat sound desync influenced subjective opinion, but the issue with the beat sound desync is a strictly objective one. I'm not trying to be contentious or act highfalutin, I'm just trying to provide constructive criticism and potential solutions here. Required, did you place the beat sounds by hand? If that's the case, I'll show you my workflow for placing beat sounds more accurately.

The red lines I drew indicate the beginning of each quarter note beat. As you can see, they don't align with the dotted-lines, which indicate the beginning of each quarter note beat at a tempo of 120 BPM. So, I'll adjust the BPM until the beats are aligned with the dotted-lines.

- beat_align_1.jpg (262.83 KiB) Viewed 2719 times
Now, at a tempo of 100 BPM, the beats and the dotted-lines are very closely aligned.

- beat_align_2.jpg (257.36 KiB) Viewed 2719 times
Now, make a new track (Ctrl+T) and insert the VSTi effect, "ReaSamplOmatic5000", and adjust some parameters, like so. Next, load the sampler with the beat audio sample (click "Browse...").

- beat_align_3.jpg (78.5 KiB) Viewed 2719 times
Go to Insert->New MIDI Item and double-click on the item. Now, use Alt+4 to enter Musical Notation view, if you prefer, and, in the MIDI editor window, check on Options->Automatically correct overlapping notes. Double-clicking on the staff will place a note. The bottom drop-down list, where is says "Grid", controls the smallest denomination of note allowed to be placed. For now, just set it to "1/4", so that we can automatically place quarter notes while inserting notes.

- beat_align_4.jpg (163.27 KiB) Viewed 2719 times
When you are done placing notes, right click on the track with the MIDI item in it and mouse over Render/Freeze Tracks->Render tracks to [mono|stereo] stem tracks (and mute originals). This will render the MIDI output to an audio track, which can then be used in a video editor of your choice. It will be named something like "reaper_stems" and it will be located in the REAPER Media folder, whose location defaults to Documents on Windows.

There are some important considerations that I didn't mention regarding using REAPER, but I don't want to end up writing another "How to use REAPER" tutorial when a manual already exists for said purpose.

I think Mr. Required gets that not every round is perfect and there may be some mistakes with the beat here and there when there's like 150 or 200 rounds total...
Also to comment on what you said about some saying fast then going at a "normal" speed...in my experience playing island when fast is actually normal, the "normal" for that round was just slower than usual, The whole round as a whole for that one was a slower tempo, so it wasn't the standard fast but was relatively fast for the round I think

Thank you! I know some of the beats are not 100% correct, but I think that's only in rock songs, and similar. When the song has been produced by a machine, the beats are adjusted, but in rock songs the beats are not 100% constant during the whole song, and that's when some of my beats are a little desync.
I use a metronome as my beat. I have a track for each speed (50BPM, 60BPM, 70BPM... 300BPM). Then I calculate de beat of the song and adjust the track manually. As I say, when I'm trying to use a rock song, matching the beats is sometimes a pain in the ass, because the beats are not constant. But it allows me to create a beat track much faster for the rest kind of music.

That's true. My solution doesn't account for songs that aren't strictly aligned to a particular tempo. I wish I could provide a simple solution (other than constantly changing the BPM) to synchronizing to those particular songs. Please, excuse me if I came off as blunt before.

You have great stuff and obviously you put a lot of time and effort into the videos and informing us of when it comes out. If I could request things, not criticisms mind you, it would be tougher rounds with each round being faster beats, shorter or no breaks, and different last round formats. Not into big woman myself, cut the boss rounds, and I prefer killer last rounds. But this is just my preference.
Again, your work is great and much appreciated.
