Some people have got teaseme working on mac but it is not trivial.
Guideme will have a mac version, I think Takenaga got it working on mac so there might be a link somewhere in the guideme thread.
At the moment we are doing a bit of a rewrite to make it easier, eventually there will be a windows, mac, linux and probably android versions.

I am working on getting GuideMe working nicely on Mac OS X, just submitted some changes to the project on GitHub for review.

A "first" Mac OS X app "GuideMe" 0.1.1.0 has been uploaded here: https://mega.co.nz/#!s90lHb7T!3ceUckxeQ ... E8MvAWlPlc

The app is a real Mac app with menu bar and the Quit menu working. Sound/metronome works.

What does NOT work on Mac yet:
- User settings dialog (resource location/loading issue)
- Video Playback (due to a native Mac rendering issue with Java, Apple broke this)

Have fun and let me know how it goes!

I found the issue and the work arround for it. It is a bug in that version of Android.
Unfortunately the work arround stopped the menus showing so you can't load a tease.
There is a fair amount of work to get the menus working and I had to stop working on it for now due to other commitments.
I will get back to it when I can but am not sure when that will be.

TeaseMe version of You Got It Bad 7.

TeaseMe version with and without the videos:

You will have to extract the files using 7-zip, WinZip etc..

Make sure you put the You Got It Bad 7 media folder into your TeaseMe teases folder and take the xml out of the media folder and place it into the teases folder too.

TeaseMe version complete with videos:

P.S. Can someone create one of those torrent thingamajigs since this is a pretty big download?

There is an error in the xml caught after the uploads.

On page start7.12 the Sofia button should lead to page s1 not 1.
Should be this: <Button target="s1">SOFIA</Button>
Not this: <Button target="1">SOFIA</Button>

Here's the updated xml if you don't want to fix it yourself.

I can't open these archives, 7-zip says these files are not archives.

Can you upload them without the password?! Or as .rar archives?!

I try with WinRar but it says the archive is 7-zip. Maybe you did use some old version of 7-zip and my 7-zip does not recognize it.

I think you're referring to the You Got It Bad 7 files! :-)
I don’t know why you cannot extract the files. The 7zip archive shows no errors. Anyway I uploaded some rar files for you without a password. If you have problems with mega or have a preferred host I can upload them there for you if you want.

Had some issues with those 7zips too. 7zip and splitted archives isn't the easiest method imo. Most pcs won't extract those by default and even after installing 7zip it's pain in the ... Just saying :-|

Yo Philo,
How hard would it be to add chromecast support?

What kind of support do you mean: mirroring your mobile screen to a large TV screen? What device do you want to use to play the teases?

According to https://support.google.com/chromecast/a ... 9461?hl=en casting is only supported for some Android devices.

I have Nexus 7 2013 tablet. My old HTC One M7 was able to cast and my new is OPO as well..

So afaik any phone should be able to cast, Perhaps some rooting is required to update.

Mirroring itself is easy, that's build in. i was more thinking of having the slide show be on screen, with the text as subtitles on top of it and use the second screen for the buttons.
