How is it being back at school Dan? Getting used to being back in that mode yet?

Do they give you a cadaver in medical school in the U.K. like they do in the U.S. so you can do all sorts of disection experiments with it?

Birdman made a point of taking me to see his cadaver when he was in med school. I didn't like that at all!

It's good actually, but really, really busy! They kind of just chucked us straight in the deep end from the word go...
It's not been too bad adjusting back to it though because I was still studying all summer as well - no rest for the wicked as they say!

We do get a cadaver to learn from, and some pre-dissected ones as well. We're doing the reproductive module at the moment so I've spent the past couple of weeks looking at some pretty nasty private parts

That's important stuff though! My husband did so well understanding the reproductive system that I got pregnant twice long before we ever planned to have kids. I sort of stood out when I went up to get my diploma from graduate school and I was 8 months pregnant at the time...

Our original plan was to wait until we were about 30 to have kids - by then I had a 6 year old and a 4 year old! I should spank him for not knowing how to control his sperm!

I guess it's easier now that they are in college - as long as we send them cash and pay off their credit cards, they don't complain!

I think, from my experience as one, the hard part is having hormonal rebellious teenagers in your house...
