PG is the second lowest film content rating in the USA. It means that children of any age can watch, but parents are advised that some content may be slightly over the line for some kids, especially very young kids.

The lowest is G, which means there's nothing even a little bit offensive, too scary, or otherwise concerning for young kids.

Pixar has released 9 PG rated films and 13 G rated films.

The next rating above PG is "PG-13", which is recommends parental guidance for kids under 13. These often have violence but no gore, some "sexy" content but no nudity or actual sex. Major Hollywood movies usually target this rating. Every marvel superhero movie is PG-13, for example.

Then R, which is recommended for those 17 and up. Many movie theaters will not sell tickets to R rated films to those under 17 but a parent or guardian can get kids tickets for them.

Finally there is NC-17, which explicitly forbids minors regardless of adult supervision. It is rarely used, because actual porn these days doesn't attempt to get rated for movie theater releases, and regular films would much rather tone down the content and get an R rating than deal with the consequences of an NC-17 rating.

In context, "PG" here means innocent; not pornographic and with no nudity.
