Flash Tease of the Month - NOVEMBER 2010

So I thought, why don't we vote for Flash TOTM? And as far as noone else is interested in adding it to the general TOTM vote, I'll make another poll. And after 3 months, I'll make a Combined Flash+normal TOTM winners poll.

I will make 5 teases with the most rating to be the nominees. Also only 1 tease from one author will be presented. Series are also considered as 1 tease (although may be nominated each month). That's done because it often happens that some author with a good creativity can take all of the nominations (or at least 2 or 3).
The poll will run for 15 days, and in the end of that period the FTOTM will be descided.
Hope my initiative will be interesting and usefull.

Personally I voted for "Something for everyone". Great tease, great work, and, indeed, something for everyone.

For me it's defenitly the "how to drive your man crazy" series from Erin. I believe these are the dream/fantasy of almost every submissive man here on milovana.com. I know my Mistress and I enjoyed them really, really very much and we can't wait to see the sequels!!
So... Erin?? When can we expect them??

I'm not argueing, but for me, this series is not a tease. It's a GREAT advice and help, and if I'd make a voting about what's more usefull - that's certainly "how to drive your man crazy". But it's not a tease for me, and frankly I can't really understand why it's flash, but I guess that's up to the author. Any way the marks are high, so it's in the voting.

I think that if Nezhul is going to run such a poll, then he should at least refrain from commenting on other entries. There is a definite conflict of interest here. And since he has expressed strong views about non flash teases, I think that for the same reason he is unsuitable as the person who runs any TOTM contest involving nonflash teases.

The one who makes a poll doesn't matter. I'v selected teases by rating, and in combined voting I'm planning to select WINNERS of the past 3 months. Frankly, I have nothing against non-flashes, it's just flash teases are much more interactive and interesting. And you will never be asked to "change the number in the adres to xx, and NOT to press continue". But If I were making a TOTM voting on non-flash, which I can, because it takes 10 minutes, I'd just select the teases with most ratings - as I did here. No personal preferences or interests here. It's people who are voting, not me.

And I'm going to comment and discuss anything I want, thanks. It's not that any of my words or thoughts may affect the result. And I'm not the judge here - the result will be decided by all who have voted, not me. If a tease with extreme CBT (which I'm not interested at all) would have high rating and get in the voting, or even WIN it - I'd just congrat the winner and that's it.

I, for one, will not be voting on this unofficial poll until SeraphOx or someone in authority puts their approval on it. If you already have approval then please state that. As far as I am concerned the Milovana team does a fine job and I will not undermine their authority.

I wouldn't go as far as saying this is undermining anything at all, and truth be told we could use someone official to fill the gap indigo leaves

TOTM and FOTM is something we should have much more of - it's great to see the authors who deserve it getting some recognition.


Picking up the top 5 rated teases from that period seems like a sensible way to nominate if you ask me - and if I guess correctly would be very close to the method used by milovana staffers in an official capacity as well.

Nez is a great contributor on this site, and apparently very active too, why not just give him an official role of running monthly FTOTM while indigo is recovering?



As for the voting, "Something for everyone" is quite possibly the best stand-alone tease ever created on this site so not really hard make up my mind this time.

I think this is a really hard decision to make. Both Snakes and Ladders and Something for everyone belong to my favourite teases. The mysterious house was very good as well, but a bit blend to my taste. The other two I have not played. I think I go for Something for everyone because you can adjust quite a lot of parameters.

btw. If a pole-leader would like to uphold complete neutrality he or she should refrain from commenting, but also a pole gives mostly quite a clear result about who the winner is and the selection method is impartial.

I'm not neutral, I have my own opinion too. But I can't see how it even POSSIBLY could affect the results.

As for official thing - who cares? I don't. If this results will be official, or if they won't be - what changes? Nothing. The preferences of the users are still can be clearly seen on a poll like that. And that's the only thing that really matters. not the post like "OK milovana team considered this poll legimate and the TOTM winner is <place a name here>". No offence - I'm just saying that it's not the point.

Do I need someones approval to make a poll? Certainly not, or else think about how much this site would SUCK. It's your choice to vote it or not. But really the post looks like you are trying to bend over in front of someone, sorry if it hurts you.
If any neutral poll can undermine the authority of a site... than lol, what site is that?! And why do this site needs forum in that case?!

I don't think anyone wants a guy like me to be in Milovana team. I'm too strict in my opinions, including opinions on some of the users posts. That'd be a shame if I couldn't write what I think to keep the face of the whole team.
Still, you may just hand me the right to create official TOTM polls, with no more obligations or jurisdiction.
I can make normal TOTM too, it's not hard. If my criteria is not what you want - you may post what it should be and I'll make it so.

Nezhul, I'm glad you will be doing the TOTM's. I have already voted and will continue too. I strongly agree that they are important and should be done in a timely manner.

Maybe it's because I'm older than most of the people here but I strongly believe that rules should be followed and that courtesy is very important. It is obvious that you have strong opinions, some I agree with, some I don't. That is the way the world works.

I didn't state my objection to your idea very well. What I wish I had said is that "It would be nice if you had asked first".
