Latest TOTM yet, but I put some cool new stuff in place that simplifies creating the TOTM poll, so it'll be less work in the future and hopefully that way we can get this competition back on track.
As always, we hope that the members will take the time to recognize the Authors whose hard work and talent go to making the site better for all of us! Thanks, and good luck!
Rules: The nominations are the 5 highest rated teases of the month. If two webteases have the same rating, the webtease with more votes will participate.
In case of a tie, a final round of voting will take place. Only the teases that were part of the tie can participate and the voting time is decreased to two days, to grant the winner's tease as much time as possible time on our front page.
Only one tease per author can participate. We'll take only the best rated tease for authors with multiple qualifying teases.
The voting system should be separated from the webtease itself. Hence webteases encouraging a vote for the TOTM to manipulate the system will not be nominated at the end of the month regardless of ranking.
The prize is a special user rank in our forum and a mark in the "Browse Teases" area.
Winner's Name
If your tease is nominated, please don't make any changes until the voting period is over, or you risk being disqualified.
If any issues happen that are not clarified by these rules the Team of Milovana has the right and the the duty to adjust the rules for finding the best and most fair solution to overcome this issue. There is no way for participants to affect a decision by the Team.
It is an honor to be nominated and I must say that I truly appreciate the feedback I receive here. Also I am very proud of the particular webtease nominated, "Your Investigated Continues". This is part two of the first murder mystery or detective story as a webtease that I know of (although I'm happy to be corrected if that is wrong). I think that if you take the time to read through it, you will appreciate the quality of the work.

Flash teases don't qualify? That's too bad, I thought Cumming by Chance deserved to be in the nominations. I have also been eagerly waiting all month for the July voting to finally start to see how my last tease Forbidden to Cum 1, (which I believe would have qualified were it not for the no flash rule) would do against the other nominees. Not that I was expecting to win, but it would have been fun to watch it in the race.
That aside not including flash teases makes the whole concept of TOTM seem false to me, especially when there's nothing indicating that flash teases weren't included. I had always assumed the TOTM winners had to compete against all the other teases, but I guess it's really just the best of some of the teases from that month. I don't understand why Milovana would want to discourage flash teases by banning them from the competition in the first place, but whatever the reason by doing so they're cheapening every TOTM by adding an imaginary question mark to the end of the title "Tease of the Month Winner".

I think we should definitely have the FTOM contest again, it's been several months since we had it...
I still fail to understand the point of doing them seperately. As I mentioned before, I didn't even know there was a seperate FTOTM contest until now. I've only been here about 6 months, but I don't recall ever seeing a FTOTM winner on the front page of the site or any mention that Flash teases weren't included in the TOTM contest.
Having browsed a little bit at the old posts that talk about FTOTM, I believe it was actually set up to promote flash teases. However, that ancient history has passed and it nowadays keeping them seperate makes as much sense as having a seperate contest for teases whose titles include the letter R. Better than simply banning all R containing teases without an RTOTM contest I suppose, but a far cry from simply having one TOTM contest for all teases from that month.

The reason for that is because you never used to be able to vote on flash teases and so there was never really any official competition for them. There was the odd FTOtM thread on the forum but that was about it.
Maybe it's time that all that changed now that the voting has been added to flash teases.
I would still like to have two separate contests, since the mediums are quite different, and since some users (with iPads or iPhones) won't be able to read/do flash teases. My thinking is that we should do both contests and thus have more awards and more encouragement. I think the big problem is that the FTOM hasn't been run much lately and is sporadic.
Actually, I do support equal rights for flash teases. I see that maybe "separate but equal" isn't really equal, so maybe I am prejudiced against flash teases.
I see the poll ended and Bondage man's tease has won. Congratulations to bondageman on another fine job and another (I think this is his second) TOTM win.
If I thought it'd do any good I'd encourage Seraph0x to quickly end this sham and create a real TOTM contest in which the "winner" has to at least face all the teases rated higher than it. No offense Bondageman, as I did think yours was a well crafted tease.
