I still haven't gathered the courage to start reading and studying how to build one of those machines. But in the meantime, I do have a question out of curiosity: Does it feel like a physical stroke? Or does it produce more pleasure than just a stroke?

And when you use a rectal probe near the prostate for one of the channels, does it feel more pleasurable? Or still like a vibration?

I do not use internal electrodes, I get little pleasure out of them and I find the muscle activation that comes with internal electrodes distracting. But there are lots of people that use internal electrodes with good success.

The vibration can be tweaked from low frequency (10hz) to smooth (for me, above 60hz). It really depends on the situation and mood which is more pleasurable.

How many different setups/different plugs have you tried? I've had very varying effects depending the type of electrode, and at least for me I've only got muscle contractions either with a bipolar electrode (which can be quite nice IMO) or when it's inserted too deep in combination high current, which caused my lower abs to to tense in a somewhat unpleasant way. I think the "trick" is to make the electricity really go into the prostate area, which can require an electrode which only faces forwards and/or additional pressure. For example some people report success using an additional plug (might be easier if inflatable) together with the electrode to make sure it's in the right spot.

Just saying because my favourite setup for Restim is using one channel around the balls and another to a unipolar anal 'trode. I'm a bit cautious especially with nickel containing electrodes because of allergies, so I'm using this one https://www.perineeshop.com/s/43732_222 ... pp-1183014 .It's not ideal for prostate stim, but it works well enough (using only the red connector in this setup btw). Doesn't work well as bipolar without something to isolate it in the direction away from the prostate though.

While a vibration is probably the most accurate analogy, it doesn't feel the same as a vibrator. Depending on the electrode setup and signal you can get some variety of sensations, for example at very low volume it can feel like a light breeze blowing on your cock, or if someone is holding it. At medium volume I would say it feels kind of like a high frequency vibration, though almost like a squeeze. And using triphase (like FOC-stim) you can make it feel like this sensation is moving up and down your cock, not exactly like actual stroking but quite pleasant in its own way, and many can get HFO from it.

The caveat with estim is that turning up the volume can alter how the signal feel, so there will be a limit to how much you can up the intensity before it turns into something else. For example (at least for me) pushing towards higher volume begins to feel more like a low frequency vibration rather than just more intensive stroking. And going even further, higher current into the cock head leads to some kind of piercing semi-painful, which can be used to force an orgasm if you can endure it.

If you're into BDSM, higher signal volumes can produce different types of painful signals ofc. If you're primarily looking for something to stimulate your cock, and want the best stroking feeling, a FOC-stim will be the best at it. I have the large flo. I pretty systematically tested all current paths involving the flo and various ball/shaft/head electrodes. Some of them feel fine and quite pleasurable. But the strength of the muscle contractions seems to ramp up much faster than the pleasurable sensations, so it only feels good at a signal intensity not sufficient for climax.

I really like the setup with 1 electrode on the head and 2 left/right on the shaft. Once the box with 4 outputs is working, I'll do some more experimenting what the best location for the fourth electrode is.

I've heard that one is supposedly good for the "ghost fuck" effect, but if you're interested in experimenting more with this I would recommend trying a probe which is aimed forward, rather than omnidirectional. Though tbf I've only managed to get a pure prostate orgasm (no cock stim at all) once, and it felt almost the same as a normal O.
