Routine maintenance may cause glitches

Post by seraph0x »

I just completed some much overdue site maintenance. Because it had been such a long time since I last updated things, there is a good chance that some things may have broken due to the update.

Please post here with any bugs or issues that you notice, thank you!

I know it's annoying when a site makes changes without any new features etc. and just breaking stuff. But unfortunately, these kind of updates are necessary even if I don't want to change anything. Some updates fix potential security issues and others are necessary because older services or APIs may shut down at some point. Appreciate your patience and understanding!

For me on Microsoft Edge EOS teases don't load. Stuck at 'Loading script'. Also their resolution did change a lot.
Thank you for the work on this site. :-)

Sytlesheet doesnt work for me so white background, blue underlined text for links, eos editor remains white screen. (win11, firefox/edge).
Takes a few sec to load any page altough thats prob not because of the update.

That's how the page looks to me now (Firefox).
It also seems to load pretty slow.

layout.css browser.css and browser.js cannot be loaded, status code 404.
Also the side seems pretty slow to load, but that's the case since quite some time, so might just be too many users for the available resources.

Similar to above, the style sheet doesn't appear to be loading and I teases get stuck on loading script. Also I am unable to upload pictures to galleries for a tease I'm working on. It goes through the whole query hash and uploading but it doesn't actually upload it. I am on chrome on Android.

Update:
Chrome on linux is also having this issue. Inspecting the page gives a bunch of errors in the Vr function:

The css in the eos editor is also bugged.
Example: Typing in the Init Script is weird, the cursor is in the wrong position.

The stylesheets seem to be fixed, but now teases hang on "Loading engine" with the wing animation.

Just fixed the issue with the styles not loading - going to investigate the other issues to see if they're distinct or if they were all caused by that.

Edit: Just found and fixed a bunch of styling errors in Eos Editor.

Edit: Just fixed a bug that made the Eos Editor API reference not load properly.

Thank you for all your work Seraph0x. Just wanted to report an issue I'm seeing in the Eos editor:

I am unable to scroll very far down the list of pages. The scroll action stops and the scroll bar on the right indicates I've scrolled as far as I can, as if that is the end of the list of pages, but I know there are more pages in the list. I can confirm this by zooming out (control + mouse wheel) and I can see the extra pages and click on them, so I know they are there.

I have tested this in a number of teases and am seeing the same thing. The issue does not seem to effect the 'gallery' or 'files'.

I'm getting this both with Firefox and Chrome on PC.

I don't know if anyone else is seeing this?
Thanks.

Can someone with this bug let me know which browser they're using? I haven't been able to reproduce this yet.

Confirmed, I'll fix it!

Thanks for all the work. I'm not sure if this is helpful but I am unable to make new galleries or upload photos to existing. Also if I click on the button for selecting an image nothing happens. Also not getting the webtease to load in the preview. I have been on chrome for all of this, mobile and Linux.
