I find the webteases around here incredibly hot, but I have almost no stamina or experience with edging at all.
How do you get started on learning the kind of control it takes to get through one of these sessions?
Are there any webteases that are specifically shorter or more noob-friendly? Any that include specific teaching on HOW to edge?
I particularly love the idea of the Cock Hero series, but I can't seem to make it past the first song or two.
How to start edging, T&D, etc.? Noob here....

It just takes practice. Stroke till the point just before you will orgasm to edge. After enough tries, you'll be able to figure out when that is. For holding it, use two fingers and rub the cock that way. Gripping the cock, or using a fleshlight, will cause the cock to leak.

Welcome
As bandit said, this is pretty much down to experience, and although most things can be trained, it's not given that everyone can do all the things everyone else can. We all have our individual strengths and weaknesses.
For starters, I'd recommend checking out All2true/sexualchoc's flash teases: http://www.milovana.com/webteases/#author=2587&type=2
Some of them can be fairly long, but they are also mostly fairly moderate intensity, especially when it comes to edging, where he has a very moderate approach - which can be a very good thing, especially for starters.
Stamina and edging ability is two very different skills to master. For stamina, I'd simply recommend going with the slower/easier teases for starters and not worrying too much if you can't hold out. Simply stop when you have to, even if the tease doesn't allow you to, or try a more minimal stimulation technique, such as stroking with only two fingers, lots of lube for minimal friction, staying away from the head, and keeping a very light grip. Most guys can hold out a lot longer that way than you can if you use full, long, tight strokes. Your state of mind will also greatly affect stamina - the exact same stroking or stimulation can produce very different results if you are extremely aroused from the pictures and text, vs. having a more casual / laid-back attitude. Easier said than done, but something as easy as NOT focusing too much on pussies/hot parts may be a good idea to keep your mind from getting the better of you too early.
For edging, practice! Start off very carefully, again using moderate stimulation intensity (light, short, easy strokes rather than fast, tight ones), approach slowly, and stop early. You get a lot better training effect byy stopping too early, where you can simply rest a few seconds and go again, than when you go too far and spurt. Really pay attention to how it feels when you get close to the point of no return, and for starters let go before you get anywhere near dangerously close. As you get better and better insight into your own feelings and how this works, you can gradually try to push yourself closer. You will obviously fail, everyone does, but practicing a lot and learning to know your own body better is the only way forward really.
If you DO get too close, where you feel everything tightening up and you really realize you have lost it, there is still one thing you can do to stop it: Let go, squeeze and hold your PC muscle HARD, for at least 10 seconds, preferably 20 or more. That prevents the pumping action of ejaculation and if held long enough, the orgasm will never really happen. Your body tries to pump, but if you don't let it, you can still rest up a little and get back to business without having to wait much at all. This, imo, doesn't feel very nice at all, in many ways worse than a ruined orgasm, but it is a nice rescue when needed.
Good luck.

Thanks for the tips, folks!
Sexualchoc, that instructional webtease is pretty much exactly the kind of thing I was after. I'll have to get around to trying it sometime and let you know how it turned out - I'm sort of busy at the moment with some non-webtease-related self-denial.
