issues adding images to teases

hello
so I tried creating my first tease just now but every time I try to upload an image that I converted from gimp it doesn't show
I also tried to make a screenshot of it which also didn't upload

I tried uploading the pictures on both the normal webtease editor as well as on the Eos editor but nothing worked
I also didn't have a problem opening the images or uploading them to discord so I don't think that they're broken or something

would appreciate help, thanks in advance

update: it works when I export the images from gimp at 80% quality
