EOS text paragraph width

Post by onlytropics »

For some story elements, I was trying to have like 2-3 paragraphs on the screen. It looks a bit weird though, since every line of text is going from the very left to the very right. Which, if you are sitting in front of a monitor, can be a lot of space. Looks really awkward. For this case, a centered box around half the width of the tease (or maybe 75%) with the story in it would look a lot better. Can I have that please? As an option? :innocent:

If you hold down shift and press enter, EOS understands it as a linebreak. :-)
Get creative with that and you can essentially control how wide the box is.

Hmmm. For me, shift-enter doesn't do anything, EOS still inserts a paragraph.

Additionally (I will just add it here because I don't want to make another thread) I think the blinking play button is confusing sometimes. It can mean 'press space to continue' or 'wait 3 minutes'. It would be helpful if the state 'waiting for input' would have a different icon. Of course the option 'either wait 3 minutes or press space to continue' is bit difficult to display then.... maybe have two icons in that case?
