[Release] Pacer - A Metronome Helper for Teases

Post by figroll »

A little app designed for use with teases without Metronome for those who prefer a beat. It's designed to be compact and to stay on top so you can use it with GuideMe / TeaseMe.

Continuous Play

-- Select a speed (Slow, Steady, Normal, etc)
-- Corresponding BPM is displayed in the top right corner.
-- Press START (or hit Enter) and beats will play at the requested speed.
-- Beats will continue until you hit STOP (or press Esc).
-- A Count of 0 indicates Continuous Play mode.

Counted Strokes

-- Use the buttons to set the required number of strokes.
-- Pressing 10 will add 10 to the current total. Press 10 twice and you get 20 strokes. Etc, etc.
-- Press play and the requested number of strokes will play.
-- Beats will stop automatically when the count reaches zero.
-- Press C to clear the count.
-- Clearing the count returns Pacer to Continuous Play mode.

Other

-- To move the window click on the white box with the stroke count and drag.
-- To exit click QUIT.
-- There is a settings.yaml file if you want to change the speeds or sounds.
-- Windows only I'm afraid.
-- I am very busy and not well so support / answers might be slow/limited.
