": Start GuideMe with "start.bat". NEVER start the guideme.jar directly. GuideMe comes with its own java and media player libraries. Without starting GuideMe through "start.bat", GuideMe can't find the correct libraries to play audio or video files during the game and will most likely crash. Im Pilgrim Quest the page after the character creations plays a .mp3 audio. Because of that it will crash there, if you didn't start GuideMe with the "start.bat"."

But it still doesn´t work..

When i put character name and continue there come text "unknown error" "there seem to be problem"

So what i can do?'


yeaii!! Its works now.. I download both new versio, this game and Guide me sotware :)

uhm... :huh: is this a serious question? :-O

the answer is: "they are "not implemented yet". ;-) Thats why they don't work and thats why this version is called v0.x instead of v1.x. :innocent: there is a big development roadmap in the first post of this thread right below the download links. There you can check whats done and whats still open if you don't believe what the tease itself tells you ;-) . :wave:

Hi I saw you launched a new update but for me it's not working,

when I start v0.2.5 it puts me back at the introduction and when I input my name and click on "create character" (the button on the bottom) the unknown error pops up.

I can still play v.0.2 so I suspect it has something to do with the new version? Loving this game so far keep it up! :)

I haven't checked out the new version yet, but I spent a little more time the other day and wanted to add to/modify my previous feedback.

My second session was probably about the same amount of time (40-60 minutes) and I had quests that were not quite as common. BDSM/Bondage and Shemale were the quests I got this time around, so I spent much more time exploring and stroking and less time edging/stopping which was enjoyable. I did come across several villages because I wasn't marking visions as frequently this time.

I'll hopefully get around to checking out the new version soon and report back if I have anything more to say, but for now I'll just say that I'm still very much enjoying the tease and looking forward to seeing where it goes in future updates.

i just checked if i uploaded a corrupted zip or something similar but no. The v0.2.5 upload works. Yes, you will start from the beginning with a new version, because it is a new script. You can't import your "old save". But v0.2.5 itself works perfectly fine and the uploaded zip archive isn't corrupted, so i assume something went wrong on your side. :-/

In the old version every time you edge for an quest it resets your chance to come accross a village (or something else) back to zero. I changed that with v0.2.5. You can edge now as often as you like. It will not influence the chances to find something during exploration. And i also raised the chance for villages to appear a bit more often. :whistle:

v0.2.5 has not only three very useful items (Sigil, Village Stone, Ritual Stone), it also has now all the options you wished for. I added them to the config.js. Now you can easily customize for example the holding length or the chance for holding an edge. :w00t:

So in summary i highly recommend downloading the new version v0.2.5 ;-) :wave:

Hi again I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong so I'll try to explain step by step what I'm doing so maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong :)

FIrst I downloaded v0.2.5, then I added pics and gifs to the random folder inside the Pilgrim Quest folder. Now I start guideme (v0.3.1) and click "load" in the top left under "file" now I select the xml file for Pilgrim Quest v0.2.5 and this pops up.

I think I did everything right or am I missing an update or something?

Did you sort the photos into the correct subfolders? You can't leave them in the random folder. You have to put them into 1_masturbation, 1_titcloseup, and so on subfolders.

Also, try hitting restart from the menu.

Here some of my current ideas: :wave:
  • pilgrim sigil: allows the pilgrim to earn 10 energy during exploration for each edge outside the quest targets. So every edge means progress even if the current vision doesn't match any quest target. Otherwise exploration could get a bit frustrating if you don't get good quests or don't see the right visions for your current quests to edge. As item it has to be first earned (although shouldn't cost too much) and as item it's always optional for players who like the possible frustration.
  • teleportation stones for village and ritual chamber: ritual chamber should be more costly in my eyes. Allows the player to teleport to a village or ritual chamber when he chooses to do so. This way the pilgrim can decide when he want to save the tease at the village or try a ritual instead of hoping for a lucky find during exploration.
  • eternal gift: pleases the goddess to avoid chastity after a denial or a ruined ending. Allows the player to continue playing after these endings
  • spell of hiding and attraction: hiding avoids encounters for "a while" if the player wants avoid any risk for an encounter during exploration and just enjoy exploration with free stroking and edging. Maybe also a spell of attraction for the opposite to enforce more encounters for the risky pilgrim?
  • item to be able to decline an encounter: Allows the pilgrim to choose which encounters to "fight" and wich to "leave"
  • love potion: raises the arousal of the pilgrim. During this day he will earn double energy
  • items to raise chances for a specific ending: If the pilgrim wants to make sure, he gets a specific ending today
  • items for free entrance to ritual chambers: could be worthwile if you find a really expensive but good ritual chamber
Should everything be available at the village shop? Or do we want "loot" after encounters?

What else regarding items could be useful for a pilgrim? :huh:
I tested it a few days ago, i really like the concept!
Out of curiousity i also tried to "cheat" just to see what happens. With that, i mean marking a picture as vision that clearly is not the quest target. And to my surprise, i still got the full reward for it. Shouldn't there be some kind of punishment or reduced points for cheating/failure? I don't even know if something like this is even possible to implement. If not, it's still ok, than we just have to be honest for the full experience :innocent:

For items i could think of some form of insurance for encounters. If cumming for a sex demon means game over it would be a bummer if there is nothing to prevent it. Like if you need to do some stroking to a metronom....in later stages this will be terrifing. You already have an similar item like that (decline an encounter) i still see me accepting metronom challenges and overestimating my stroking skills which would result in the complete loss of progress. I don't know....when a tease takes several days or weeks to complete i just find abrupt endings discouraging. So a last straw (insurance) in such encounters would be cool....like instead of forcing you to come you only have to edge and the encounter is over. It should of course be expensive, since it's your own damn fault if you need it.
Or you like to keep the danger of failing completely, that would be ok too...after all, it's your game :-)

edit: i don't know if looting from encounters is really neccesary...when it is easy to implement of course, it would add to the rpg feeling...otherwise it's a feature that doesn't really need priority in development in my opinion

The error message tells me (because of "fLoadMedia" in it) that something went wrong reading the random folders.

What do you exactly mean with "added pics and gifs to the random folder"? Did you delete the folders static and/or animated? Did you delete the "_default" subfolders in static and/or animated? Why? Let them be, as they are in the download. You need both folders static and animated; and each of them needs at least one subfolder or this error will happen. You can sort your random image collection under these folders as you like. Names for subfolders under animated or static don't matter. But you need at least one subfolder in each of them and at least one image in total for the script to work.

Another possibility: you didn't read the short F.A.Q. at the beginning of this thread and closed the game during exploration. In this case your save game got corrupted. You have to restart the tease (file > restart) and begin a new game

Close but not completely true ;) Per default you have 2 categories (animated, static). Each have one folder under random. You can put images directly into the animated or static folder. The script will find them. But you need at least one subfolder in animated or static for the script to work (that is the reason, the base game comes with a _default subfolder for both of them. Names for subfolders then don't matter and subfolders even can be empty...

It is possible to implement (see my posts in the Hearts Club thread about a tag editor), but it would require that you manually "tag" all your random images with all possible tags from your quest cards and update these tags for all images with each quest card you later add or change. Otherwise the computer can't know what is in the picture shown without you telling him before your start playing. We already have to be honest, telling the script when we came without permission (that is another thing the computer doesn't know otherwise.) Because of all that and the over 2700 images that come with the media addon alone, i decided that we just have to be honest in Pilgrim Quest. :whistle:

Hmm.... i will think about it. How would you call this item? How much should it cost compared to the existing ideas for items? Although my first reaction would be: Encounters have to be a real risk. If you get an option to enjoy the encounter but without the risk, it could ruin the encounter. My existing "decline an encounter" item avoids that by giving you the choice before the encounter, but if you want the reward from the encounter you have to take the risk and accept. At least that were my reasons behind it so far.

From time to time it shows "Unknown Error" and also when in the village, when I go to Shopkeeper it shows Unknown Error. Local inn seems to be working but Shopkeeper shows "Unknown Error".

uhm... :huh: the logfile shows, that you use the wrong GuideMe version (v0.3.3) and ignored the following warning right before the download link at the start of this thread: ;-)
IMPORTANT: You'll need GuideMe v0.3.1 to run this tease (newer or older version won't work!)

Didn't know the newer version could brake it :-) . With (v0.3.1) it's working.


That tease seems to be really good. I don't find more errors for now.

Try GuideMe to play Milovana Teases offline or create your own offline teases with highres images and videos...
Look at Hearts Club or Pilgrim Quest or My Succubus if you wanna see whats possible with GuideMe...

hey devion,

I just discovered your new "project". Reminds me of "CumQuest" or "Apokalypse". Not because of the story or the characters. More because it is a real adventure and not a simple tease.

I would likt to play it, when it get's final. I don't want to get spoilered with anything to heavy. ;)
