Somewhere in the realm of sinful pleasures, you are on a pilgrimage to serve the goddess of lust. You will explore the wilderness, accept different quests, fulfil erotic visions and encounter dangerous sex demons. Once you are worthy enough, you will complete ancient rituals and feed your goddess with your cum as she pleases. But be warned, that you are bound to her and not allowed to cum outside the ritual or without her permission. Fail her and you will loose your soul and life.

The world of Pilgrim Quest is heavily inspired by M.E. Hydra (Writer of bizarre and arousing fiction featuring dangerously seductive succubi) and uses artwork from hentai-foundry. Please support these if you like Pilgrim Quest!

Pilgrim Quest is a higly customizable random slideshow tease which follows a game structure allowing you to earn points while stroking and edging towards your orgasm. It uses a card pool which you can customize to your own liking. For example, quests cards give you specific targets for edges during free exploration while encounter cards will force you to stroke a certain speed or edge within a time limit without coming. If you find a village, you can save your progress and buy items which will help you during your pilgrimage. Once you built enough energy you can attempt to enter on of the ritual chambers to start the ritual and earn your chance to cum. But your goddess will decide if you are a worthy pilgrim and allowed a full orgasm, a ruined orgasm or still get denied in the end.

IMPORTANT: You'll need GuideMe v0.3.4 to run this tease (newer or older versions might not work!) and please use start.bat to run GuideMe (never try to run guideme.jar directly, see F.A.Q. down below for detailed information)!

Pilgrim Quest v0.6 (186 MB): mega.co.nz - UPDATED: August 23, 2017

This is the "base game" with everything you need to start playing including a core set of cards. Be aware that the base game only contains a random folder with 40 default images and animated gif. You will need to add your own porn images into the random folder for the "full experience" or download the Media Addon.

Activate Encounters: "Miss Tutorial", "Core Set" - UPDATED: August 23, 2017

(requires Pilgrim Quest v0.6; choose one; download your choice and overwrite /scripts/encounter.js)

Per default "Miss Tutorial" is activated and the encounters from the Core Set are disabled (because at the moment these are only artwork). If you want to meet Miss Tutorial use your scroll of summoning after character creation. Miss Tutorial serves as example for a custom encounter and as a tutorial on how to create your own custom encounters. Read here for more details on what Miss Tutorial has to offer. If you want to deactivate her and enable the core set encounters, edit encounter.js or download the above pre-edited encounter.js as you prefer.

The Media Addon adds 2700 more images and animated gif to the random folder, sorted into different subfolders for easier customization. Download the AddOn and extract it into your PilgrimQuest folder.

  • During character creation a unique User ID (vUser.UID) will be automatically created and saved. This ID can be used in encounters to identify the user as a "returning pilgrim" and track his visits. I also added a new attribute (vUser.Loot) to save one random item from the inventory upon character death (maybe you will find the corpse of your previous pilgrim in a future adventure?) Attention: Old memorial entries aren't compatible with v0.6 because of these changes. Don't try to import / copy them or bugs might occur!
  • Added 2 new ritual chambers (one for people who love ruined orgasms and one for people with lots of energy who want raise their chances for a full orgasm)
  • Added 25 new quests (and changed quite a few quest artworks / targets). With now 50 quests in total this might be the complete "core set", although I'm open to suggestions for improvements or more quests and artwork.

Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)

Q: GuideMe crashes directly after character creation

A: Start GuideMe with "start.bat". NEVER start the guideme.jar directly. GuideMe comes with its own java and media player libraries. Without starting GuideMe through "start.bat", GuideMe can't find the correct libraries to play audio or video files during the game and will most likely crash. Im Pilgrim Quest the page after the character creations plays a .mp3 audio. Because of that it will crash there, if you didn't start GuideMe with the "start.bat".

Q: Can i close the game at any time and reload it later to continue playing?

A: No. You will most likely run into bugs and loose your progress. If you want to close the game, visit a village, rent a room and save your progress there. The game will tell you, that it saved the progress. After that you can safely close the game and come back later. After a "denial", "ruined" or "full orgasm" ending you will end up automatically at your room and the game will be saved.

Q: Can I continue my old save in a new version?

A: Unless stated otherwise in the update notes for the new version, it isn't possible to bring your old save to a new version. You will have to start a new game with a new version.

Story

The realm of sinful pleasures has the appearance of a medieval but magical fantasy world and lies within the mysterious H-space. The realm is ruled by Ashara, the goddess of lust. Although she is called a goddess, it is believed that she is a powerful succubus of the highest order. Thanks to the goddess and different from the rest of H-space the realm has noticeable elements of a working social structure including different villages for humans. Outside in the wilderness sex demons hunt their prey, but within the villages life is fairly safe, as long as the population worships the goddess. Settlements who can't satisfy her needs, loose their protection and get destroyed, while the residents will be abducted by sex demons or sold as sex slaves.

Worshipping the goddess means feeding her with sexual energy. As with most sex demons, maximizing the sexual energy of their prey through constant arousal and denial before bringing them to the sexual climax is an important part of the feeding process. It is no wonder, everything in the realm is centered around lust and sexual desires. The order of the goddess teaches how to improve cum production in the population and sex slaves are freely available for sexual intercourse to everyone or forced into an endless series of orgasms.

Sounds amazing, looking forward to seeing it if/when you decide to make it. Never tried "Skirmish" but while I was reading through your post I couldn't help but think of the Hearts Club tease for GuideMe, which is definitely amongst my favorites. (I absolutely recommend checking it out for anyone who never has: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=14007&hilit=hearts+club)

I do like the idea of randomness in such teases; keeps it exciting, in my opinion, when the length of play and outcome aren't exactly the same every single time.

EDIT: Well, no wonder it reminds me of Hearts Club. Just realized you made that too! :lol:

So far exploring and basic support for quests is implemented... :w00t: I might consider uploading the prototype once i finished implementing basic support for the rituals and at least the village room (so it becomes "playable") :whistle:

1. I could use help to improve my english texts for the intro, because english isn't my native language and better and more story is always great.

2. I created so far 25 quest cards for the core set... but more quests (and chances to cum with equal "targets") including more fitting atwork would be nice.

here is my photoshop (.psd) master file with all card layouts and the current cards: mega.co.nz (210 MB)

you can create more cards with the psd or send me artwork (800 x 533 pixel) with a fitting quest text (1 line, not more than 2 quest targets). Artworks don't have to be within the medieval fantasy theme because when in doubt they could represent just a "vision" (including possible visions from other technological more advanced dimensions). Quests with the same targets and with the same or different reward values are no problem (it makes it more likely to see a specific quest target and can simulate a different "rarity"). Chance to cum work exactly the same but add a slide limit (between 5-20 slides). You have to find your "target" within this limit or else the ritual will fail (and you have to continue your adventure).

In my current prototype the player character has 2 slots for quests. If he wants to accept a third quest he has to overwrite one of his current quests, but (for now) he can always choose to decline a new quest. Quests give the player one or two "targets" and reward edging to these targets with energy. It is the main way to build energy for the goddess. Energy will be needed to gain access to the ritual. The current 2 ritual chambers require either 500 or 1000 energy to even attempt a chance to cum (which often might fail because of the bad luck of the draw).

The player should also not forget that the goal of the ritual is to sacrifice the remaining energy to the goddess (and converting the energy into "points" for players who want to chase a highscore over multiple rituals). So spending all your energy to just gaining access to the ritual chamber will leave you with no energy to offer to the goddess during the ritual. In result the rewards for quests are (at the moment) balanced the following way: a "weak" quest reward would be less than 50 energy, a "normal" quest reward would be 50-100 energy and a "great" quest reward would be over 100 energy (max 200).

So please feel free to send some feedback and suggest more "targets" and "artworks" for pilgrim quest! :wave:

My only suggestion is an opt out process where you can opt out of certain things (like say shemales)

customizing the experience is part of the idea with the cards. For example If you don't add shemale quests to the card pool (or decline a shemale quest) you won't have to edge to shemale targets. And because it is a random slideshow of your own images: if you don't throw shemale pictures in there, you won't see any shemale pictures (even if the shemale quest still exists).

So you already have a lot of options, but opt out of everything could also result in "no risk (and fun) involved".

I think, there is a balance to be met. The balance here is mostly realized between free stroking / edging during exploration and the risk of an encounter with a sex demon, which will force you to do something specific in a specific time, a specific beat or to specific content without cumming. There might be even sex demons, who will force you to edge to shemale pictures. You could eleminate sex demons with unwanted habits just like quest cards, but it might be a good idea, to let at least a little risk remain in encounters.

I fear an optional "easy mode" (without encounters) would be a step to far... What do you think?

Anybody interested in a small update?

Here some screenshots from the current script in GuideMe v0.3.1:

First a look at the "standard interface"... At the top you see your current sexual energy (built through stroking and edging) and what you already donated to your goddess in previous rituals (aka your "score" as a pilgrim). Then some flavour text (here in green because we are in free exploration mode) and at the bottom your 2 quest slost with your current active quests.

Here one of the encounter cards in the browser in the game. So far i wrote short descriptions for the encounter cards to add some flavour and give the player an idea what to expect from an encounter. For the blonde elven girl you could guess, that she will appear as blonde teen girl, that her dialogue will be more on the "sweet and nice" side and that her main encounter mechanic might be forced stroking to a beat without cumming (which could be difficult after all the edging during free exploration).

And lastly a look at the help section of the game. At the moment this section contains a glossary, the card browser, a page to check your random images (btw... the script has no problem handling my currently over 3000 images and animated gifs in over 20 subfolders) and as a bonus some monster girl profiles from H-Space, which inspired the game and which i might use as ideas for future encounter descriptions. You can browse and customize your card pool. Quest-, Encounter-, Ritual- and Chance-Cards are all integrated. It is fairly easy to add-, remove- or customize cards. The base game i plan "core set" with cards but i'm curious if we will see custom cards and mods.

Okay... ritual chambers and chances to cum are ready as well... In the following example screenshot, our pilgrim has entered the ritual chamber, accepted a chance and now searches for a vision with the required targets to earn his chance to cum. The countdown marks how many visions are left before the ritual will fail. But luckily just short of failing the ritual he finally got the perfect vision (a redhead and doggy sex - a nice picture from my random image collection). Now he can mark this vision, edge for the goddess and await her descision (denial, ruined or orgasm).

Everything looks really amazing, and holy shit i am impressed by your fast working pace.
I will definitely check it out.

Will the ritual be purely luck based with even chances for the different outcomes or will there be some kind of costumization?
Like a kind goddess with high chances of a good ending or a cruel goddess with high chances of a bad ending.

thx a lot :w00t: but writing for guide me is not very complicated and making these cards is a lot of fun :whistle: but don't expect too much from the prototype. it will remain very rudimentary... just getting the basic framework running... :blush: but i think i might get the prototype ready for sharing during this weekend

i'm open for suggestions. At the moment it is as follows:

- which chance (and cum target) you get is completely random. it only depends on your card pool
- whether you will get your cum target within the time limit is completely random. it only depends on your random images
- which ending (denial, ruin, orgasm) you get is partly randomized but will be influenced through different factors

these factors include (at the moment): how much energy you're offering and which ritual chamber you chose. For the beta version you will have more options through items to influence your chances for a specific ending. But i'm already thinking about more factors like secret goals from your goddess depending on the current date or her current "mood". Or maybe we could add a way to "level" or "skill" the player character to customize the preferences of the player for endings and improve his chances for a desired ending over time through raising the character level. but i'm not sure yet what the best way would be to do this... so feel free to offer your ideas

This looks absolutely fantastic devion :w00t: . Very impressive, and I love the artwork. Where are you finding all that?

I wish I had time to help but I'm swamped already with my own never ending projects that I'm trying to wrap up. If I get the time and energy I will try and help with some of the texts.

Loving the idea and really looking forward to trying it out.
