I'd heartily recommend that you use the Constant Rate Factor (CRF) parameter, rather than a specific target bitrate, when encoding. CRF will automatically increase and decrease the amount of bitrate necessary to achieve a particular quality. Try something like CRF 18 if you want to achieve a near-lossless encoding.
I don't know what software you are using. I could probably help you out more if I did. I'm guessing that you use some sort of Apple software, based on the metadata in the video.
This probably isn't very helpful, but here's an example of encoding a video using CRF in ffmpeg to achieve a very high quality output:
"When I get home I'm going to let my apparatus out of its cage!" ~fragrantEmulsion
"The rhythm for that song is very complex, and I fear that if I mimic it with the beat meter, people will want to throw their shoes at me." ~high_octane

It's iMovie.
It seems that I have a lot to learn. I will take your advice and will try and get these movies in a more manageable size over the next couple of days. I'll then post them up on Mega.nz. I would love it if people were able to download them.

Since it's difficult to control quality on the video editor side, it's always best to request BEST QUALITY. Then for distribution, let me introduce your best friend forever, Open-Source Handbrake. It will generate the video file at an excellent video quality, while being extremely share friendly.
So use HANDBRAKE with the RF18 Constant Quality option, all other options by default. You'd be surprised how smaller the video becomes, without any impact to the quality.
The generated output of your video editor may be bloated, too big for not any significant benefit. One thing you can do is use HANDBRAKE with the H.264 (x264), RF18 Constant Quality and Web Optimized / Fast Start options, all other options by default. You'd be surprised how smaller the video becomes, without any impact to the quality.

I’m Commander Sheperd and this is my favorite tool on the Citadel. (Only makes sense if you’re a gaming nerd, I guess, but handbrake is amazing).
My latest Cock Hero is Sweet Mammaries, a Cock Hero Quickie.
I've also made 4-play, 4-play 2, Getting Down With The Thiccness, Fuck Hard Cum Harder, Filthy Cute and Kittens & Cream. You can stream them all on SpankBang or search up their announce threads here for other options. :)
Yes, I'd also recommend HandBrake, since it is essentially FFmpeg with a GUI. Since your videos already have a huge bitrate, you could probably just take them and pass them into HandBrake, as doremi suggests, and everything should work out fine.

Around 2.9 GB now.
That is a much more manageable size. It is possible to reduce the file size further by using the "veryslow" preset (using "placebo" isn't worth it). It looks like you used the "fast" preset, which is reasonable, because using a slower preset will significantly increase the amount of time it takes to render the video. Using slower presets will also increase the video quality to a degree. Just thought I'd pass along this info.
