Hey Milovana!

Well we're back with a new Game for you to test out.

If you're unfamiliar with our work we started about a year ago when we created a pretty basic rpg maker cock hero game. Which was okay just not very flexible. And there was just so many requests, suggestions, and ideas that we quickly evolved from that and began creating our own style. Which is a more interactive story style which better compliments the CH genre by allowing you to interact with the models and actually pursue the Reward of your choice.

Which is fine and alot of fun but we are always trying to add more and look for new ways to improve. Which lead us to begin creating a more Arcade style CH game. Which we will begin including in our releases after this beta release.

This initial beta release will only feature two skills. To allow everyone to get a feel for things without over complicating it. And also make it easy to try and figure out balance as well as which controls work best.

About the Game

I guess it can be best described as a fighting game with Arousal meters and first to 100% Cums and Loses. You will start off with only the ability to add additional strokes to the round by pressing "1" for a single stroke or pressing "111" for a quick bursts of strokes. Which will help you complete the rounds faster.

You will eventually learn about Tribute Energy and how you can use it to unlock special skills. The first skill being your Stroking Shield which will allow you to stop stroking as long as it is active.

I feel its easier to just download and play then to try to explain everything. But please feel free to ask any questions or add any comments or suggestions.

Please be advised this is a BETA version so balance is off. So regardless of how you play you should lose no matter what. But we will keep making adjustments and adding new versions for testers to continue trying.

FEEDBACK

1. BALANCE - Should rounds be easier or harder? Should Hero's skill be stronger weaker?
2. Play-ability - This is meant to be a JOI game so are controls easy to use? Should there be more or less input?
3. Anything Else - Comments, Suggestions, Requests, Anything else.

FYI this BETA only has 24 Rounds. If you somehow make it that far the last round will just loop.

Same here, cpu load goes to 100%. After some times the app crash.

Im wondering if you need windows 10 ?. What about java and microsoft net version ?
Just asking since I still use win 7 x64 with 16 gb ram + a nvidia 1050 ti card- everything is updated today.

Game is Unity-based, it shouldn't require Java... Maybe .NET but I'm not sure... I got past the beach and intro and then closed it (want to be able to enjoy it fully, but also wanted to make sure it would progress after seeing the replies here), but I think the rounds might be colliding with each other? (unless the brief flashes at the beginning were intentional of course)

I was looking if was possible to do a win7 version best I could do is a 32 bit. Unfortunately win7 stopped being publicly supported a few years ago and I think windows will also stop supporting this year? If not soon...

Yea flashes are just something Random I leave in sometimes.

FYI please keep in mind this is a beta. Our games usually have some kind of "Reward" round this does not. The main focus in this test is to try and get an initial baseline with how far people on average can get before dying.

For Instance I can only get to about Round 17 before I lose. And I can anticipate everything. But I know in the past people have figured out hacks so thats why I stopped it at Round 24.

Some feedback... I was convinced during the first round that my bar was on the left (typically with arcade games player 1's health/score/etc is on the left-hand side) and tried to play it with that in mind for a while. Is it possible to either switch the bar positions or label them so there isn't confusion?

Besides that, the video loops feel a tad short, at least for the first few rounds. Does that have to do with how the non-Arcade format will function?

This would be possible. The reasoning for having it on the right was to keep it on the same side as the player's beat meter. But yea we are saving creating the graphics for the GUI for the end this way we can still change everything around to whatever works best.

This is actually the first release where all the clips Loop. And I think I paid to much attention to finding the loop of the song and didn't realize how short they actually were coming out. But yea only the first few are that short and then avg to about 45 secs or so.

But this helps

Basically the idea is we would like each round to loop X amount of times with no skills. So after X amount of loops you automatically beat the round and proceed to next. The Y amount of times with maybe only a few extra bursts. Then Z amount with lets say constant bursts. And we will eventually add a special that ends it immediately or only lets it play once.

So any feedback to help close in on these numbers will be appreciated.

Support for Windows 7 will end on January 14, 2020. Anyway, my RAM are working fine , did a stress test for 2 hours no errors. Maybe I just need to get win 10 copy somewhere :)

32bit doesn't work

It does more stuff but it still freezes and skips and junk

Not a memory issue since i have 16gb of ram

In the task manager it's only using 24% processor and 500k of ram

Okay guys just finished uploading AHW Beta v1.02. Based on some initial feedback a few adjustments were made. Now "1" will be a short burst and "111" will be a long burst. This should alleviate some of the button smashing.

There were also some broad changes made to npc arousal damage. So it should progress a little smoother and may be possible to reach Round 24 (Final Round) now. I'll be doing a run through some time today and if it looks good will start to prepare full final version for release. :smile:

The Full Arcade version will be released FREE to Milovana. And the Full version with Story, Arcade, and CH modes will be available on DecadenceXXX.com

Also I'm thinking of adding a few extra mini rounds and maybe an extra bonus round. If anyone would like to help support the project and help us get some new content you can here Support Decadence Island CHRPG

I would rather have the option of holding down a key to progress, but this alivate some of the button smashing.

My biggest critic is the short loopy nature of the clips - even when I constantly pressed 111 I had to rewatch the same clip multiple times. It should be much longer clips, so you should never hit a loop. *Maybe* if it was meant as a short loop for a break.

Just started uploading AHW Beta v1.03. So in about an hour I'll update links. I did test this and was able to get to Round 22. I did make a few changes before uploading so Round 24 should be possible now.

If you do get a chance to try this and make it to Round 24 any feedback on new skills would be appreciated. It's kind of something new I'm trying out so curious on thoughts. Thanks!!

Well there will be a skill in future releases which will allow you to skip rounds. Still view this as kind of OP so it will either be rare or use most if not all Tribute Energy to use. It'll be similar to the Potion of Reprieve from our RPG maker game. Except it'll work alot better since you'll be able to know which round your skipping. And will be able to decide without wasting it.

Yea I kind of made the clips too short this time. And the first few rounds are kind of smashy just to allow new players a chance to get use to controls and find their rhythm with little to no consequence. As you proceed further you'll be using special less as pace picks up.

Also on the final release there will be a CH version that just plays all the clips randomly. And it will be a kind of endurance challenge. Where the longer you last the better your Reward Round will be. And this play mode will require little to no input besides SPACE when you're ready for your Reward.

This arcade style is just something we're trying to develop in addition to other styles. Which has a lot of potential once we get the main mechanics sorted and we can start to develop an actual AI to battle against. Just all takes time but we'll get there!
