Hey all, I've been watching Cock Hero for a little while now and have absolutely loved Required1's Cock Hero Island Series. With the beautiful release of all the clips for all the Cock Hero Island's, I have decided to create a Cock Hero Island Parallel world. It's a compilation of my personal favorite clips from the Island series turned into a brand new 5 hour storyline. I will be working on this project and releasing each episode as I get done making the story cards for them. It should be a fun time and really I just wanted to share my perfect Island experience with every one else since I was going thru the effort anyway.
Will this be combining Required's scenes with your own new ones to tie your story together?
Also, any expected release date or schedule would be great for hype if you can stick to it...
Woogity: It won't be much in the personal input department. I've crafted a full new storyline already using about 5 hours worth of Island scenes. The extra stuff I add is mostly just girls I really like who I wish were included in the original. After the first video is released I'll have an update schedule as I'll know about how long it takes me to work on one of them. But likely looking at the first video to be out within the next two weeks.
Rule63: I understand if you don't like my first ever original cock hero video, but what exactly did you not like about it? Was it a preference problem? Editing? Song? Etc? I know this won't appeal to every one because it's to my tastes, but are there other ways to improve?
I guess glad to know it seems like a preference problem, but I am really hoping to get some feedback on my editing style if you have anything. Things like length of cuts, use of tease, build with the song, and etc. The choices of girls and style of the porn are just my tastes. I'm really into porn where girls look like they're having a fucking blast hence why I chose to make this one for my first since it was kinda natural for me.
I did have some other ideas for it though. I was thinking of doing a red and blue theme of the video as well. The red would be the Lena Paul video that's already there and the blue would be Faye Reagan in a video where she's wearing a blue dress and is pretty aggressive. Faster cuts and more variance in what you're watching as well as Lena Paul being more happy and submissive in, funnily, red while Faye Reagan is very aggressive while in blue.
I like the idea about the red vs blue. In that clip, I felt like the cuts between shots were just a little too fast, but partly because it was all cuts of the same scene. A contrast between 2 scenes would help to make that feel more appropriate in my opinion. Plus Faye Reagan is fantastic. The idea of red being care free and loving it while blue is more domineering would also add to that contrast mentioned.
personal preference wise, I didn't rate the song you used. It felt super retro, without enough sex appeal to seem super appropriate for the mood. But as you say its a preference thing and its your video, plus I couldn't name a better alternative off the top of my head.
Also, the text used was very basic. While I appreciate that was perhaps to avoid taking too much focus from the action, it seemed too plain and actually distracted me more. Perhaps just some color rather than a whole new font, but its something I would look at tweaking.
The scene you chose, though fine, gives it a bit of a sterile feel when it's all by itself. Vindicare had a few rounds that only used one scene, but the scene would take place in different locations, which gave it a more dynamic feel. This feels pretty static, since there's a lack of variety. I remember Required's best boss battles had great camera movements from scenes that were A+. A typically viewer might see this scene and rate it average at best (the girl is fucking hot, but the camerawork isn't special).
Regarding the editing, the music selection is your choice. The onus is on you to make the gameplay exciting and in sync with the music. For music with high BPM like this, really strong dynamic cuts are a good way to make things more interesting (if you want examples, go on PornHub and check out Gemcutter's PMVs). Your beats seem to fall out of sync with the beat of the music as they progress, so I'd look into that.
