Hey thanks for the feedback I'll respond more in depth when I can spend more time on each idea. It was a lot but a lot of great stuff.

I did just add an online beta version if you'd like to check it out. I'm hoping it runs smooth on a majority of pc's since the main issue is file size.

I just added level zero online version here. But patrons can download the complete game with both levels together.

Looks good but the videos dont load fast enough for the online version. It just ends up freezing and buffering for the first half of almost all videos.

Worked perfectly fine for me and I have only 20mb/s download, so maybe your download speed is just awful?

Oh look, I can go to a website! Instead of downloading your excellent games and playing them, I can just surf the web to look at videos about your games, and images from them. Nice! So can search-spiders. If it's in a download-able file, spiders don't find it, is my guess. But when it's just "up" at an image-host or web-host, the porn police start getting ornery. I think? Anyway, when you start posting stuff on the web that includes images which other people are likely to claim copyright to, you are crossing into a different sort of territory, I think. I have no personal objections, I want things to be as damned hot and horny as possible, just from a personal point of view, LOL. But I suspect that the act of downloading something, in other words, of going out to fetch a single file that has been announced to only a rather small community, is sort of a "firewall" between the copyright-police (or copyright-trolls) and your use of the materials that they may want to protect. Whereas, the act of PUBLICIZING it, by posting it up on the web where "everyone" can see it (as long as they find it), well, to me, that kind of ruins that "firewall" status. I dunno ... very hotness stuff, thanks for your efforts, I may be just paranoid here, I leave it up to your judgment. :)

Cool glad to hear its working smooth. This will most likely be the new standard distribution method for these games. This would allow for a virtually limitless amount of clips and rounds and remove a lot of roadblocks I was hitting by trying to keep filesize below 4gb.

When I was doing the audio I started to do this. I just couldn't find the right sound without it being to over bearing but will look into this again.

I kind of did also but for cumshot skills, and orgy party skills (which is releasing next), to be effective sluts need to be able to cast spells(vids). I wonder if there's a way to cache the downloads to save bandwidth/reduce buffering on already downloaded clips?

I just tested your online version of the game. Still love the game, but I had a lot of issues with buffering and the video's not playing smoothly. I have a decent connection where I am at, but depending on where the server is that hosts your game, this could cause a lot of users to have difficulty enjoying the smooth content from downloading the entire game. I see a lot of potential on the online version, we get the file faster, we play faster, you can update content more smoothly. The only issue is to fix the latency issues with the video stream, you would have to reduce the quality of video and that unfortunately is one of the many things I love about this game is the high quality video. I hope you can find a happy medium for the users of the game that supports your creative process but allows each version to be played cleanly and at high quality.

I originally made a browser version but it was buggy from the start and ultimately only started playing first 5 secs of vid then moving it to the background for some reason.

I appreciate your concern I'll still release a downloadable version but it will have a lot of stuff blocked. and just be the new quest and level. Only real difference is online version will have it all in one game and may get a few bonus quests of just random ideas I have that I'm not able to do in the single level versions.

Regarding the hosting I'm planning to wait a month or so after a few people have got a chance to play it and see what data there is to review. Then with that data talk to my hosting guy and see if setting up an alternate server in the most popular country would help or if maybe theres something else that can be done. I do believe that hosting is the way to go tho. Just gonna take some time to get it running smoothly. But should be worth it since the variety and randomness of clips gained through hosting is what will make it that much more entertaining :yes:

If you guys are concerned about having to re-download files via torrent, I can suggest (maybe I don't understand the issue?) that a torrent's contents can be changed even though it's still being uploaded / downloaded. In that case, as long as any recipient keeps his received files in the same folder-structure by which they arrived via the torrent, then his torrent client will recognize those files and will not re-download them, but instead will simply add whatever files are new to the torrent. Additionally, if you don't want to change the original torrent, you can simply make a new torrent which mimics all the old files' folder-structures, with new files added; any recipient who has who kept that folder-structure will (as above) download in a manner that ADDS to his collection without having to RE-download what he already has. Is that helpful? Or did I not "get" the extra-files-downloading-bandwidth problem that I'm trying to address? Anyway, have fun y'all! :w00t:

edit: I think part of the issue on size is it seems (at least for the offline version) that all of the videos are embedded in the same .exe as the game itself, as opposed to separate file(s). If you had a way to put those in separate files (even if they aren't just the straight video files, so long as the game can read from them) it might mitigate file size, plus make it easier to add/remove/change videos.

Another comment, just for fun I was watching my network activity... It seems the game's streaming whichever scene it's playing from scratch each time it plays, instead of streaming the first time and then pulling from a cache. Just feels really inefficient network-wise.

Last comment... I decided when I was playing the online version to head directly into the maze without stopping at the Nymph Island first... And never met Aubri once through the entire maze. Dunno if it was by design or just RNG rolling against me.

(true last comment): Will progress from Level Zero be able to carry over to Level One?

This won't change the fact that with each new release the game grows. And would just increase the chance of error since player would have to switch clips in and out. Each level currently has about 20 clips and is about 3-4gb. When Peyton, Ari, and Summer are released they're each going to want their own clips which will increase with the more spells/skills they get. So with just one level and main cast you're looking at around 20gb. Then there's all the hidden content that isn't part of main story. Basically it's just a huge game. This is why we have decided to host it and will continue to look at ways at improving our hosting so everyone will have the same enjoyable experience.

This is just RNG nothing is different between hosted and online versions.

Yes you'll be able to use game saves in all levels new and old.

Each beach slut on intro island has a hidden tribute chest. I believe after you release 3 times it unlocks.
