We are thinking maybe we can add a shared server in select locations may help. Which may be doable with our current budget. But if it looks like only solution is a powerful dedicated server that's just something that is well passed our budget.

Sorry about the delayed response. Glad to hear you were able to figure it out. We had to completely update the core of the game to get the new save format to work properly. Unfortunately this means some saves from previous versions may not work. We plan to cut level zero anyway and is only being included until we can create new rounds which feature our new battle format.

The new battle format can be seen with Nymph Liza Update. And includes a set of Foreplay skills which will be unique to each character. And choosing the right one or right combination will unlock a new set of special skills. Liza just has 3 options and you just have to choose right one. But we would like to slowly make this more complex. Using all of them in the right order for instance. We just have to find right balance since 3 FP moves would be 6 different combinations but say 5 FP moves would be like 120 different combinations even 4 FP moves at 24 might be a bit much. Any thoughts on this would be welcomed.

As always thanks to any feedback or suggestions the game continues to improve.

I've suggested this before: You're effectively streaming clips, in my experience the same clips multiple times. This is not bandwidth efficient either for your server/s and your users - see your cost implications. Can you not get the client to maintain a local clip cache? This leads to clips only being streamed once, easing the load on your servers & users bandwidth. And playing back from the cache is unlikely to lag.

This may be possible I would have to look into it more. The main problem I see with this is every pc is different so I would need like a separate program that asks user how big of a cache to create. Since every PC has its own limitations before it starts freezing.
I looked at streaming sites and they're not caching anything but instead have multiple versions of same clip and just load whichever it feels will load fastest. But they still reload the clip every time.
This is why I feel it is a server problem since it runs completely unnoticeable for me and a few others have reported same. so this leads me to believe that users experiencing lag are just in different parts of world. Which makes me believe that all they need is a server closer to them. Which would also be the simplest and most cost efficient solution as well.

Any chance the online video's could be uploaded with a pause feature and a load bar so that users can wait to view when they feel they have loaded an efficient amount of the video to proceed?

I'm thinking of just focusing on server improvements. Starting off with a few extra locations maybe Germany or Great Britain. And as the game grows look into obtaining a dedicated server that can handle everything.

I do like cache and pause ideas I just don't feel they solve the actual problem of having to wait. Since you would still have to wait for cache or pause to load. And every new character that is added will be getting a minimum of 10 clips which varies from 2-4gb worth of scenes. Which is about the size of an avg cache. So every new encounter you'd have to empty and reload new scenes. Which isn't that bad now since there's only about 10 characters and 60 scenes. But this is about to grow a lot faster now that Liza's new skills and features been coded.
I've been kind of postponing releasing the team (Ari, Peyton, Summer) until I had a good solid foundation of skills that is entertaining, challenging, and scalable. And I think that was achieved with nymph Liza. Now I'm just working on a few ideas for a death taunt then just need to streamline workflow. And once that is completed I will no longer have to try and contain the world in an effort to keep it manageable instead I could just let it grow with every new scene or storyline we come up with.

I do appreciate all suggestions and hopefully this sheds a little light on the direction we are going and where we are focusing most of our efforts. Which is New Scenes, New Characters, and New Rounds.

There is a Liza update available for $1 patrons. This features Liza and her new skills so I could get a little feedback. Which was over all positive so now will add the new skills to level one beach sluts as well as all new characters. And all level zero characters will slowly be phased out and maybe be re-envisioned at a later date with the new battle skills.

Level 2 is done we had a slight set back with a corrupt file so some things had to be remade. Should be uploaded by the 7th if not sooner. It will be a boss battle which I'm still doing some tests on but will most likely play like a combination of the Jennaa battle from ACHC but with the added Foreplay skills challenge.

We will also have our first Exclusive scene releasing this month :yes: Will have more info on this soon but our main priority is quality so everything we shoot will be in 4K. And well mostly we just hope people enjoy our overall vision so we can continue to create new Exclusive scenes for Decadence Island :smile:

I have played through level 1 a few times, the walk-through is a huge help. Just wondering?

Also, I know it wouldn't be available for awhile for non patrons, but how is level 2 coming along?

Oh yea I keep meaning to change this. I'm just still a little undecided which models I want to use to portray our main cast. Maybe I'll just make it a random clip each release. Orr just had a thought if I ever get a level ahead I could use as a sort of teaser for the next level.

Level two is just about done. There was a lot more artwork used in this release so took a little longer. Just running a few tests to try and get somewhat balanced and then I'll upload this week sometime. I don't have a non patron release date yet tho. I should know more later this month after I catch up a bit.

Thanks for responding to my feedback post. I'm glad you liked my ideas! I actually had another one recently, though I'm not sure if it's feasible or not.

New idea: Slut Promotions (I know, even this name makes me lol)

When a normal random slut you encounter defeats you, she gets a promotion/levels up/ranks up and becomes an NPC you can re-challenge to "settle the score" as it were. If you lose again, she becomes even more powerful and destroys you with an even more elaborate cumshot scene than the last one. :p If you win, you get more exp/money.

I liked what I saw in your Nymph Liza add-on. It was cool seeing her as an NPC that you could approach to challenge. Would like to see more of this! Something I experienced while playing the level, I noticed weird visual...defects for lack of a better word. Like when you're talking to Liza, it will suddenly flash back to the map view for a moment as you progress through the text. Or during the cumshot scene it will flash to her model posing in the background each time you click to progress the dialogue. Moving through the map also seemed kinda laggy? Or the framerate (not sure if this is the appropriate term to use) seemed to stutter as I moved around at times. Did you change something about the game file from last time that caused it do behave this way?

Overall I liked the way you included her 3D animations and beat bar presence (was there a full cum tribute-like clip featuring her? I didn't see one :-O). Looking forward to the next level or whatever you designed.

Sorry guys not dead.

Patreon is just no longer a viable platform to use for this project. So we will be moving to a new site we are just finishing up a few things. I'm hoping to launch on the 1st but since we are going to be running our own independent platform theres a few more checks that must be run before launch.

We have taken a list of all current Patrons and will provide them all with a FREE trial to review the new site as soon as it opens. We understand changing platforms is a hassle. But besides freeing ourselves from Patreons control with our new platform we will be able to provide you with a lot more content. And by becoming independent we don't have to run the risk of having everything deleted one day.

There's just so much that goes into each an every level from creating the ch rounds, to the animations, to 3d artwork, and then finally coding it all into a game. And to put all that work into the control of a company as shady as Patreon was something we'd prefer not to do.

If theres any suggestions on what you would like to see on this new site please let us know. Our main goal will always be the development of the game. And a level a month seems to be the best we can do at the moment.
