The dialogue helps get into the head and psyche allowing you to be mind fucked at the same time.

Some of the feedback we received from Canto I, was that some of the more unusual or complicated patterns of stroke rhythms were too difficult to follow without a beat-meter. Raga and I are both strongly opposed to having a beat meter because we feel it's distracting. However we do listen, and I am less inclined to simply dumb all the beats down to simple standard 1234 and 123-123.

So we went with a compromise - a beatmeter will fade-in during a pattern change along with a text-prompt of the change, it will remain for approximately 2 measures to assure the viewer has adopted it, and then will fade-out to allow focus and immersion on the screen action. A few of the scenes have easier vanilla patterns to zone out to, with few changes. Others are still maintaining frequent shifts and a few complicated or unusual (challenging and fun) patterns to enjoy, as we received just as much feedback from people who liked the overall non-vanilla and challenging strokes the the production presented them with.

Overall, Canto II will be very challenging to make it through, harder and more challenging than Canto I. I wouldn't be surprised if people compare its overall difficulty to something like CockHero - Fail. But that's where the skills and abilities come in - to be used as "cheat codes" to help you manage getting through it. And it becomes interactive and unique to each viewer.

UPDATE:
5 of 5 sections are completed from a scene editing perspective. I have mapped out beats for 4 of the 5 sections. Barebones has masterfully put down the stroke-beats and beat meter for those 4. That is now the template with which to work. We'll hopefully have section 5 of 5 with beats by end of this weekend. Then he'll work on making the beatmeter have the effects work with the fading and visual appearance, and add the instruction text.

I am working on the writing of the various prologues for ending in various rounds. Raga will edit the visuals for each of those. Then all that's left is the opening Intro.

We may not make Memorial Day release, but close.

The plan is prior to release I'll give a few days notice to allow those who wish to rest for few days to do so. Bonus Virtue Points will be awarded based on how many rest days you've have prior to watching. The Virtue Points will be added to the total of completing Canto I successfully which you can use as currency in Canto II to help cheat through some of the rounds.

Hey there! I see you got the code and got hooked up. Glad to see it worked.

Thanks for the support! However, I'm afraid you're just going to have to wait; probable a few weeks more than expected. Raga just got a big project at work and end of school year for my kids is proving to be very cumbersome with school function priorities. I promise all it's close, and I'm very happy and proud with what we have so far.


I have attached the PDF for the game-play rules that was originally designed with Canto I. This will still be relevant for later Cantos.
