I think some people may have come into this expecting a point+click narrative video and not an actual game that requires grinding (leveling) and learning the game mechanics.
Yea I kind of did leave the story lacking a bit. Which is my fault. It just would of been a massive amount of coding to account for all the different paths a player can take to get from point A to B. I could of made it so player can only go from point A to B. But to me that would ruin it for the players that have already played through it once before and really enjoyed it and would like to play through a second time trying it in insane mode. Since there's multiple short cuts, spells you need, don't need, to get to and win your final battle with Jennaa. Which would lessen your total play time and maybe make it possible.
And not to mention the fact that after you beat Jennaa once you can continue to play and level your hero and unlock all of Ari's spells and basically be able to build your own CH. Theres lots of different possibilities. But yea I just failed at getting people to Jennaa in the first place.
Game design is not easy haha. But thanks for all the feedback my next game is already better because of it. I just ask that you don't give up completely on this game until you have found and fought Jennaa. A little grind here a little grind there and you'll eventually get there. Might take a day or two or even a week which is by design so you have a sexy game to play during your days of rest
So if you haven't fought Jennaa yet and still having trouble figuring it out. I did type up a short guide to make up for the story that is lacking above, which in no way is it the easiest way to level but until you're familiar with all the skills and mechanics it is the most consistent and reliable.
Thanks again everyone!!
