Hey,

with occulus rift and HTC Vive out there some porn sites and studios released VR Porn. I would like to give it a try but I wont pay 600$ for a VR headset. So there are VR classes for Smartphones like Samsung Gear VR but I dont own a Samsung and I dont know if it would work with sound and the special videos. Does anybody tried VR Porn and knows a "cheap" way to get a good setup. Like a 6" Smartphone or Screen with goggles like google cardbox or something.

I kinda like VR Videos, of just watching usual Videos on my Smartphone over VR Glasses (No 3D Effect, but still you have the image as big as a cinema screen).
I'm using my Smartphone (Google Nexus 6P), which works kinda fine, but I had some troubles with the size in VR Glasses.
I would recommend something around 5"-5,5" screen size, not bigger, even if the advertising says it fits.

You can just search (for example at Amazon) for "VR Glasses", you´ll find a lot depending in which country you live.

My Smartphone uses Android, so I can only recommend Android Apps.
I prefer using "VR Player PRO" which costs 2,2€ in App-Store, but there is also a free version with limited features.

Depending on which videos you download (My highest quality videos are 2880x1442 or 2160x2178, depending on video type) you could have problems with playing them on your Smartphone. I used to own a HTC One (m7, the first one that came out from HTC that had this style), and it had problems playing videos in this high definitions. (HTC One had a FullHD Display, the Nexus 6P from Google has 2560 x 1440).

Thanks. that helps a lot. I have a Sony Xpera Z3 Compact with (4,6") 1.280 x 720 which wont work i think.
How do you manage the sound? Is the headphone jack still reachable?

Yes, the headphone jack is still reachable, aswell as the charging port.
My old VR glasses (I once had some for like 15€ made of plastic) where a bit more difficult, but usually everything you need is still reachable.

To the Smartphone problem: There are 2 Ways to solve this Problem: If you really buy your membership at one of these sites (I had 2 Memberships at different sites now) you can usually choose a video quality to watch/download, so something in lower Quality should be available too, so you can play it on your phone.
If this should NOT be the case, you still can download these Videos with your membership from these sites and then convert them on your computer, there are a lot freeware-applications you can use to convert the video to something like 1280x720 :)
Maybe first write an email to the website you wanna register & ask them if they offer different video qualitys or only the maximum quality.

I recently got my oculus and let me tell you, vr porn on that thing... hooooly shit. Maybe it'll die down once I'm used to it, but for now, when they get the angle and proportions just right, god, damn, there is someone right in the room with you on top of you, it is nuts.

I imagine a cock hero put together with some of these clips would be sort of ridiculously hard. I know some people like looking at clips of the eyes and eye contact, in VR when they get their face right up against you, it has nothing on any 2d clip I've ever seen.

It is a damn shame real touch isnt around anymore to jump on the opportunity for VR porn + real touch, that would have been ridiculously awesome.

I have a GearVR (using it with a Samsung S7) and it is a complete game changer. I've had it for about a month, and I don't watch normal porn anymore. The resolution is not great yet, and a lot of studios are still figuring out how to best leverage the technology, but it is already amazing and is only going to get better.

I realize that is a bit of an investment if you don't have/need the S7, but I get the sense that cardboard is also pretty decent. But if you are on the fence and need a phone upgrade anyway, you will definitely not regret the extra $99 for the GearVR.

I am definitely looking forward to more compilations and other creative video as VR becomes more mainstream.

I'd like to offer a different opinion, I recently tried a Gear VR with my Galaxy S7 and I really didnt enjoy it much at all. Yes, the 3D is quite striking at first, however the low quality resolution and "screen door" effect over everything was hard to look past. I could never get the focus very sharp and I was very aware of the headset and felt like I was looking into a box rather than immersed in the VR world.

I haven't used a VR but the oculus cv1 is pretty decent. There is sort of a 'haze' over everything, and a slight 'looking through a tube' (very slight) feelings... but I have glasses and perhaps I'm sort of used to no peripheral vision so it doesn't bother me.

The other issues is a lot of the porn out there is the wrong perspective, either people are too big, too small, or the camera is in the wrong place. Virtualrealporn seems to get it the most consistently right, i'd recommend starting with their stuff.

Either way, in time the resolutions will increase and the price will come down. I don't think one could really go back to flat porn if 3d is readily available, it is just that damn immersive. I guess check back with me in a few months but for now it's just pretty damn amazing.

I set up my own "pseudo-virtual-reality" arrangement sometimes. It simply consists of hanging or propping the laptop on something where it is exactly the right height to rest smack in front of my eyes, about ten or fourteen inches away, and will stay there without me having to hold on to it. I arrange it for whatever position I intend to be in to watch. For example, if I'm planning on slouching back on my bed to watch, then I can use a strong length of binder-twine to hang the laptop off the bed's headboard so that the screen is positioned right above the pillows. Or, for another example, if I intend to be sitting in the big ol' recliner chair, then I might get a ladder and stand it behind the chair, then prop the laptop-rest out from the ladder so that the screen, again, is right in front of me. And then there's the lying-down arrangement underneath a bench. If you have the right sized bench or shelf, you can simply place it over your chest with the laptop's screen pointing downward from it, so that it's right in front of your face. The bench should be long enough to clear your body's width at the chest or abdomen, but also not so deep that it gets in the way of your crotch for fapping. (TMI?) If I need to, for any of these arrangements I can invert the laptop, and then use the graphics card software to re-invert the video playback. It's fun! I do this with normal movies, too, setting up a home-theater type one-person viewing experience. The distance which I will want, from eyes to screen varies, depending on the brightness of the show I'm watching, and how dark the room will be, etc.. If you get it just right, then you aren't actually looking into goggles, but because the screen limits are exactly at your own vision's reasonable limits, you basically ignore everything else that's going on in the darkened room behind the screen and it BECOMES like looking into VR goggles. But without the screen-door effect ...

Game changer for sure! I have Galaxy S7. You don't even need a data plan if you just use it as a WiFi digital device. I've recently upgraded my phone, and now just use the S7 for WiFi web, game playing and VR watching.

The goggles I bought were $45 on Amazon, not a huge expense at all. Just make sure you get the right goggles to fit the right Galaxy phone. I have 2 Micro SD cards each with 56GB capacity and I just fill and swap them out, fill one with 8 or 10 new clips while the other is in the phone. I have a Blue Tooth set of headphones so I don't need a cord to the phone - but you CAN use a cord/headset. While not as extravagant image as the Occulus, for a helluva lot cheaper, it's hardly worth the extra 700 bucks if you ask me (if you already need a phone anyways).

Don't skimp on the headphone sound quality. Sound is KEY, also in drowning out other noises that break the verisimilitude of the environment.

Sometimes the visual are so real and pure - your brain will fill in gaps where other sense are void - so sometimes it's like you can feel or smell what you hearing and seeing. it's crazy. The really great scenes are phenomenal!

The first time I tried - was a Naughty America....it does it's little branding intro of the lips - all 2D, and and the title screen etc, then suddenly HOLY FUCK Nicole Aniston's cleavage and sensual crafted lifts were in my face. I remember the first few times thinking my wife would walk in and see me in the room with another woman....it was that real feeling! Get some hands free stimulation - like a vibrating cockring or something and enjoy.

Here's a big tip - Make sure there's NO WAY you will be interrupted, because with good sound, you'll never know what's going on in the real world and have no idea that you have an audience.

I had an oculus rift laying around, tried a few VR videos and decided that the next CH i'm gonna edit is for sure gonna be in VR.

Played around with it, got a beatmeter working inside the headset, all good to go.

And then Liquid showed up here on the forum with his Haptic files and whatnot (Big Shoutout Liquid!) and showed me another game changer.

I got a fleshlight launch for myself so i could play cock hero hands free with the haptic files!

Now i've decided to combine the two, even though the target audience may be a bit small (since i don't think a lot of people have got bluetooth wankmachines AND a VR headset) but i guess it's always possible to make a few different versions.

But anyway, yeah. Next CH from me is gonna be playable in VR without the use of your hands. Can't wait to share this with you guys when it's done.

An actual VR version of inferno would obviously be really hard, but in most VR players, you can just open normal videos and watch them in the headset, looks like a big cinema screen. You guys sound like you had a much more immersive experience than I did. (See my linked post.) I returned all my headsets and gave up on VR for a while, based on my experiences. I certainly did NOT end up being so immersed that I couldn't tell what was real versus fake. Glad it's working for you.

Maybe my phone isn't nice enough? I think Moto G5 Plus is a good phone, ought to have a high enough quality processor and screen?
