And why would any young woman with an awesome body want to ruin it by having a baby? This is the part of human biology I just don't understand. "Hi, I'm perfect. So I'm going to go wreck it." Kind of like how they think up which guy they'll date. "Hi, I'm a nice girl. My daddy likes me. Men treat me well because I'm fuckin' hot as shit. So the only guys I fuck are jerk douchebags who hit me a lot and ride motorcycles illegally. That turns me on." WTF ...

In fact, here's another thought. If natural selection is really so goddamned all-fired pervasive, why has it done such a fucking BAD job within the human species of selecting what young women will look like? I figure 9 out of 10 females are permanently unfuckable due to screwed up body shape, etc., and other "average" (common, usual, non-toxic) genetic mishaps. (Not that males are necessarily any better. But because I don't personally try to date males, and therefore I can't assess which males are fuckworthy or not, I can't really comment on male human natural selection.)

I come to this conclusion through observation. I happened to be an older student, during a previous episode of my life. I entered a graduate program at an age significantly older than most of the classmates. There were a lot of people in the 25 to 28 year age range, male and female. I was in my early 40s. I therefore had a chance to look around. And basically, what I saw was, that most of the young women just had no chance. Nice people maybe; but the men weren't interested. Nor was I. I look, I see, I assess, I reject.

Why would biology make this happen? Doesn't make sense to me. You'd think the natural selection process would do a better job of weeding out undesirably fat or shapeless asses, ugly tits that flap like pancakes, and so on ... but nooooo. I personally am all in favor of variety, but not UGLY variety. I like appealing small tits, and appealing large tits. I like fat appealing female asses, skinny appealing female asses, medium appealing female asses. I just don't get why there are so many unappealing versions out there.

In fact, if you think about it, the real reason we have porn (and other adult business outlets, like strip clubs, prostitution, etc.) is not that men are desperate for sex. We could almost all of us go fuck some butt-ugly or older woman in the next forty-five minutes or so, couldn't we? What we're desperate for, is DECENTLY FUCKWORTHY partners, fer chrissakes! I'd like to send out an SOS to the entire Western female adult human world -- PLEASE lose some weight for God's sakes, we're DESPERATE here!

book_guy, you must not have gone to the right school. The rare girls in the Computer science department were on the nerdy looking side, but still very nice. But girls next door in the Biology department, Oh! Wow! And for the Top Model girls, a little further away (and very choosy too), the Business & Marketting department.

Honestly, I think there are very few women out there who aren’t pretty, or at least have something pretty about them. And hell, there’s a lot more to women (or people in general) than just their appearances. As a species we have a biological drive to procreate (which is why we get so much pleasure out of this sex thing in the first place), so it doesn’t surprise me that someone might decide to have kids. I’ve got two and I’m perfectly happy about it. That also said, there’s no reason having kids should mess up your body. Plenty of people bounce back from pregnancy – barring any medical issues, it’s primarily a matter of eating well and keeping fit. My wife is 40, slim and still turns me the hell on.

So I guess your mileage will vary. :)
