Looking for suggestions/Ideas for my next video.

I think it's ok to have round 4 build to a climax of intensity and immersion and then for round 5 to take it back down a notch...that just allows you to build it back up again! Whatever you decide to do, it's exciting to hear that you're hopefully getting close to the finished product. Looking forward to checking it out

That's a pretty specific round theme for POV. If all else fails just take some time off from working on it and come back to it in a week with a fresh perspective.

Yeah it'll be difficult to accomplish if it was POV with those specific themes.

I actually think that the issue is the material that I've chosen. It's kinda cheap and tacky porn with no real effort put into the quality of the video, its just hop in, fuck, end. The rest of the videos that I've chosen appear to have much more production value invested into them and as such they've edited pretty well and they work smoothly... I'm sticking to my guns and keeping with my original plan. I'm swapping this theme though.

On an additional note, I've removed a section from round01. I love the section, but the music and choice of videos stood out from the rest. It was a much darker more artsy choice of video and the music was way different from the rest of round01 and the rest of the rounds that follow. I've replaced it with a different model and song, and I'm just as pleased with the new video as with the original one.

I'm gonna go back and re-edit a section of round 4. Round 4 is a POV round with a couple of sections where the action on screen has been synced to the beats of the audio. To do this you need to actively speed up and speed down the video in chunks to match. I've rewatched the round several times and I'm unhappy with a couple of videos. They just didnt sync well at all. It looks too sped up or too slowed down. So I'll rectify this.

I've also noticed in round03 that there is a beat in the beat meter that is off, I'm not gonna rerender the entire round for the sake of a single beat. So meh.

Making progress..I may include the videos that I've removed in a bonus folder too.

Sorry for the double post but here's an additional update...

Good News: I've completed the changes I wanted to make on the previous rounds. So those are all good to go now. I have also made some progress with round 5. Theme has changed from profession, to one a little less specific. Still stuck for themes for the last 2 rounds though... Once I'm done with round 5 and the next bonus round, I'm going to start a new thread that will reveal exactly what it is that I have done for this CH. Maybe even do a beta.

Bad News: For the next week or two the video will be on hold. I have genuinely lost all patience trying to edit on this PC. As I mentioned previously in the thread, a few months ago I had a massive system failure. My GPU was completely fried as a result and my computer has been a nightmare to use since. If Sony Vegas doesn't crash in the middle of editing, then my entire system fails when I try to render something. It took 6 attempts to get Vegas to render the changes I just made to round 4. Each time it would get to around 80% and my system would just lock up and I'd get all sorts of errors. So I'm done for now. I can't even have two Twitch streams running at the same time lol... This PC is fucked!!!

On the flip side to that... I'll have all the money I need to buy my new PC this coming Friday when I get paid and if all things go well I should be back up and running by the start of December. It'll take me a bit to get things up and running again but soon I'll be back to editing at the same speed as I was with Evo1. Hell! I'll actually be able to use the preview window in Vegas properly now too lol!

I'll still be spending some time gathering material to use but as far as any editing goes... not gonna happen sadly. Fingers crossed, I should be able to get this blasted out properly when I'm not tearing my hair out because of this garbage PC lol.

-An "ethnic" round was in the cards (and may still be...) I originally had that theme slated for round 2 or 3, but you'd be surprised at how difficult it was to gather decent solo material for specific ethnicities. It was going to be White, Ebony, Latina and Asian. Finding uncensored Asian porn is a god damn nightmare! It's even scarcer when it's solo stuff. I've collected a ton of uncensored Asian porn over the last few weeks for this very theme.

-Teens to Milfs is what I have replaced the profession round with. Currently I'm planning 3 parts, (18-20s/20-30/30-40+) Got that covered I could also do a round with varying numbers of women on a single guy... that could definitely work. Ranging from 1 up to 4.

-69 round wouldn't really be my thing honestly. As much as I love the act of going down on a woman, seeing it in porn does nothing for me. Removing that aspect of a 69 kinda makes it just a blowjob round then lol. A positional round was originally on the drawing board too... maybe scenes focusing on some other positions, cowgirl/doggy some others...?

-Again, piercings is a "meh" thing for me, if a women has piercings, that's fine. If she hasn't, doesn't make any difference. Again, it's hot, but it's not a particular niche in porn that I actively look for.

-An eye color round could be good... I could go back and do a softcore/bj round with plenty of close ups. When I got stuck with round 5 I had thought of slipping a round in before round 3 or 4. With this being a blowjob centric round I could also incorporate the oral creampie one.

-Redheads are a part of round 2, they already have their own section got ya covered there too.

A couple of those ideas have definitely given me food for thought. Again, thanks a lot.

Well, I was able to aquire my PC earlier than I had expected!!! I got paid a little more than I thought I would, so instead of ordering the components online and waiting, I drove out to a few of the computer stores im my city and picked em up myself. Cost me a little more than I wanted but, I got all of it and got it built and running this afternoon.

After struggling with that old PC for ages, Im so happy to have this new one, it's like going from a push bike to a jump jet. You have no idea how nice it is to be able to actually PREVIEW, in realtime, what it is I'm editing lol... With this, hopefully not only editing, but rendering will be significantly quicker now too. I've got a few creases to iron out in the system here and there, but otherwise I'm good to go. On a 12 hour overnight shift at work tonight so I don't plan on doing anything major until Sunday.

That said, were back in business folks!!

I know what you mean about softcore stuff... Round 01 in this video is purely softcore stuff and I genuinely enjoy making that much more than I do anything else. I could make hours of softcore rounds for this video lol.

I had a blast assembling it lol, although I made a huge error and almost flipped my shit because I thought a part was faulty lol... turned out that I hadnt connected a single cable lol... whooops...

I am having a great time with this new PC, been catching up on some games that ive missed out on. Now that I've familiarised myself with the changes in the editing software I use (upgraded those too) I am back to editing and HOLY SHIT!! it's so much quicker... My last computer would take about 20-30 minutes to render the beat meter alone and around 40 to render the full round. This new one literally took less than 5 minutes for the meter...

Im back on track with round 05 now and am editing through the first quarter of it. Ill post back soon when Round5 is done :D

I'm getting there lol... Slowly. Working in retail over christmas is a damn nightmare, I've been pulling 12 hour shifts to help out my manager since he's allowed me to have the first week in January off so I've had very little time to actively edit.

Upgrading my software prooved to be more of an issue than I had initially thought. The latest version of After Effects has some wierd issue when outputting certain formats (weird meaning that it just doesn't do some of them). I had to download an additional piece of adobe software to link with AE to be able to properly output my meters. Spent some time playing with that and now im familiar with the way it works I have been continuing on.

Other than that progress is good. Made some changes to the structure; Round 4 is now round 5. Round 4 is at about 70% complete and round 5 is 100% done. Just sourcing some more uncensored asian material (which is a mission in and of itself) Then I can finish it off.

As always I'll keep you posted on any significant updates. I've attatched a copy of the file details from my folder incase you're interested :D
