This is a wide-open broad-ranging inquiry I often have in my own mind, and I'm sure other people wonder about it, too. How real is porn? I guess I mean to ask not so much, how real are the acts -- I believe they did take place; most of them are obviously real films of real events, and the few fake events (example, giant cocks that spurt forty gallons of confectioner's icing sugar) are so obviously fake that I don't feel like they need to be inquired into. So, what I guess I mean is, how real are the EMOTIONS in porn? By that question, I mean to ask a lot of the implied but unstated other questions behind that question, questions such as but not limited to these below ...
- Do the girls really like it (sometimes)?
- Do the guys and girls get off and enjoy the sexual stimulation? Aside from the actual act of ejaculation, how much else for the guys is enjoyable and how much is totally not something he wants ever to have to do again?
- People who do the less vanilla acts that aren't extreme (like, f.e., anal; or double-penetration; or simply, chicks with dicks, for example) are they doing that act solely because the scene has a higher rate of pay, or because they're actually kind-of interested in that kind of act so it doesn't bother them as much as it would bother someone who has totally vanilla preferences, or is there a mix, or what?
- Do the people who do the fucking in porn actually have that degree or level of turn-on, whether for the ACT or for the PARTNER?
- When a girl is doing something that (I generally presume) doesn't often happen in "real" life but happens a LOT in porn movies (example: gang-bangs; bukkake taking 100 facials; public-sex tied to a sybian blowing ten different men) is the girl getting paid a lot more for the scene, and does she enjoy it more or less, and how much of her decision to agree to do the scene is based on her ACTUAL turn-on as opposed to her desire for the cash, the notoriety, the porn-starlet-points that will get her more jobs in the industry, etc.?
- When a bondage or kink scene is filmed, how much danger does the girl THINK she is actually in, as opposed to, how much is just acting?
- Same bondage or kink, how much of her expression of PAIN is actually real? I presume that they have a safe-word which she can say to stop any scene at any time, but if so, how the fuck is she going to SAY it if her mouth is stuffed with her panties and a ball-gag?
- For the filming of "forced orgasms" that are intended to appear so numerous or so intense that they're (supposedly) painful to, and unwanted by, the recipient performer who is experiencing them, how many of them are actually unwanted? Or, how many are actually orgasms at all?
- When men perform gay porn, are they necessarily GAY men or are they just behaving as though they're gay, performing the act that makes them appear to enjoy having male sexual partners?
- When women perform lesbian porn, are they actually turned on by having female sexual partners? Or is it more like, a "less dangerous" or "more tame" version of having sex with males, for some of them? (And if the latter, then, what does that tell us about the very concept of sexuality in the minds of those women? And of women in general?)
- When you see a "casting" video, and the chick acts like she didn't know she was going to be asked to do a porn shoot, did she REALLY not know she was going to be asked to do a porn shoot?
- Later in the "casting," when she seems SO damned into the fucking that she simply can't get enough, is she REALLY into it that much, or is it (again) acting? Or maybe her first experience with ecstasy or a similar sex-enhancing drug?
- How many of the porn videos out there in "mainstream" porn sites (like, think, Pornhub or Spankbang) are actually films of women who did NOT want to be filmed but because of their life-circumstances (need for money; hooked on a drug; need to please a pusher, blackmailer, whatever else) or because they've been trafficked, or kidnapped, or you-know whatever else?
- How many of the chicks who do point-of-view blowjobs (without any other action; simply, they are there at the foot of the bed between the guy's legs) and seem to "enjoy" that act of controlling the male response, are actually having what they would call an "enjoyable" experience? As opposed to, how many are acting like they enjoy it because otherwise they won't get paid?
Really, that's a long list, but it's just examples. How much of the ENJOYMENT in porn, is actually REAL and how much is COERCED and how much is NON-COERCED (rather, it is willing, voluntary) ACTING? I don't really know why I want to know ... but somehow, I really want and need to know ...
