Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device
Hi, I am sketching up my own e-stim stereo and have a question related to the Stereo input. is it a reason why some choose to have left and right stereo input, wont you gain the same results by having one Aux input? Thats a personal and maybe skill based decision. Its easier to solder one 4mm port ...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device
I also get a small electrical signal when I turn on the machine (even if the file isn't playing when the switch gets turned on I get a pulse and it's not always the same strength), would this be some sort of grounding issues? For that add a 3 channel switch like mentioned in my design. ;-) Some AMP...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device
For my first box I used this one as audio input: https://www.conrad.de/de/p/tru-components-718574-klinken-steckverbinder-3-5-mm-buchse-einbau-vertikal-polzahl-num-3-stereo-schwarz-1-st-1564526.html Should also work fine as elektrode input. Thanks for the link! Following the midistim schematic, it s...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device
Hi, I'm currently collecting the parts to make the tronic Midistim for the first time and was wondering what is a good electrode socket to purchase for 3.5mm size so I can solder it to the transformer wires. I have a 2B and want to use the 3.5mm to 2mm output cables that they gave. Parts I plan to ...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device
Thats correct for triphase you connect both "-" with the switch as seen in the schematic. Thank you. I notice I got the wrong kind of a switch for this (two pins, not three) - I suppose it would also work if the only purpose of the switch is to either bridge the "L&R -" outp...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device
All the rest of the schematic seems clear to me but can somebody clarify how to connect the triphase switch? Below is an example where I would use the outer connectors. I suppose the correct wiring depends on the switch too? I don't know if this is right, I'm just providing the picture to make it o...

Re: DIY Stereo E-Stim Box project
So some time went by and im having lots of fun with diy box and now ive started to work on my next itteration. My main focus is to make the interior much cleaner and to add a bluetooth and mp3 player module to the build. To make the inside cleaner ive designed a smaller bottom layer which will conta...

Re: E-stim to buy
Thats subjective. If you know basic soldering or are willing to learn then you can create your own box for 100-250€ depending on the tools you already have. I would buy a cheap tens unit from amazon to see if you like the stim sensation.

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device
I had it working...I finally had it outputting current when I realized my electrode wires were bad and replaced them. Then, in my excitement, I wired the resistors to the transformer in the wrong polarity and now I think I've not only fried the amp since it started clicking on me when I turned it u...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device
NOPE, That wasn't it either. Despite having dropped another $50 on replacement parts, it still doesn't put out any amps. You know what? Screw it, imma go back to pre-built amps and figure out a way to have dual volume knobs and a tri-phase switch unless anyone else can give me a suggestion on what ...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device
Cant tell you much about the switch but what i see is that you go into the transformer with one ressistor in series not parallel. I also see only one ressistor per channel. What schematics are you using ? In general on a different note i would skip the complicated switch which aim it is to shut off ...

Re: [Tutorial] Building your own DIY E-Stim Stereo Device
Uhh...lads? Did I fuck up with soldering directly to the pins on the amp because I thought the wire that came with it was too thin? I'm getting 0.8V out of it but no amps. [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1F776aZ ... p=drivesdk] That shouldnt be a problem if soldered properly. 0.8 volt is way too l...

Re: DIY Stereo E-Stim Box project
Update: I could debug the box and now everything is now working as intended. I have to say I should have build this thing sooner. Before this I only knew the 2b and now since I can compare the two I have to say the 2b is Pain with a little bit of pleassure while the DIY box is pure bliss. Now to the...

Re: DIY Stereo E-Stim Box project
Sorry for the long pause but Conrad has delivery issues with the 3.9 ohm ressistors. They send me wrong ressistors twice and are now doing a warehouse check to see what went wrong. In the meantime i ordered them from amazon and received them tuesday. For assembly i started with both of the subcircui...

DIY Stereo E-Stim Box project
After some discussions here on milovana and on discord I feel like im missing out by only using my 2b so I decided to build my own Stereo E-Stim Box. In this thread I want to document my experience in building the box. So lets get this thing started. I'm pretty much using lolol2’s great build with s...
